Update 3/12/19: I have to upgraded my rating. If I could split my rating the medical portion of Baylor Surgical Hospital would get 10 stars. My original rating was directed at the administrative portion. But I have to upgrade my rating on the administrative portion as they called me offered a no excuse apology and we mutually reached an agreement. It takes a professional organization to do that so 10 stars for the medical and 4.4 stars for the admin. My wife had surgery on August 23, 2018. On the morning of the surgery, I agreed to pay down a portion of our share of the estimated cost and they would charge our credit card the balance of the actual cost over a period of six months. Never received and invoice, never received a charge, never received any written correspondence. By December 2018 I am assuming the actual cost was less than the estimated cost and our insurance company had done a great job in negotiating the cost. Then 5 1/2 months after the surgery, on February 16, 2019 here comes the bill. Whoa! This has nothing to do with the operating staff that were very professional and did a wonderful job. This is about the administration or I should say the complete lack of administration of this surgical hospital.

I had my knee scoped here by Dr. Kraig Pepper. This was, by far, the absolute best experience I have ever had having a surgical procedure. From start to finish, I felt respected and cared for by everyone at Baylor. I would not hesitate to come here again should it be required.

Modern nice hospital. but they seem rushed to get you in an out, checked in 10. 29 18 had back surgery that morning ,went well i suppose, but the pain medication they have is hydrocodine you would think medical science would have more options after all these years which also stops up your bowels, the doctor said the would release me bout 5pm 10 30 18 the staff was in a hurry to release me bout 1.35pm cause they said they had 20 more admissions, anyway they released me before i had time to have a bowel movement which made the next the next week uncomfortable.
