Went to ER, the older white male doctor told me he needed to test me for influenza and results would taken at least an hour. I did not need a test to know I had fluid behind my ear but for some reason he did even tho I said I didn't want the test. I left the hospital without help due to not being listened to about what's wrong with my body. I never had symptoms of influenza so why was he testing me for it? Because loss of hearing, ears popping and a cough? Wow smh ridiculous. This was weeks ago. Never went back to doctor. Did home remedies to cure clogged ears and it worked!!! We pay for insurance! We pay doctor salaries! They need to listen to us when we go in!!!
I went to the ER because I was feeling horrible. Chest pains, hot one minute, cold the next congested, coughing, diarrhea on and off fever and feeling very fatigued. A Physician Assistance came I, asked me a few questions and left. NEVER examined me. The nurse came I started giving me some medications,( never said what kinds of medications or what it was for until I asked) and breathing treatment . They put an IV in my arm but No fluids until I asked. Gave me aspirins which I believe irritated my ulcer because my stomach started hurting and then I really started feeling nauseated. So I asked to see the doctor and was told that she wasn't going to come back to see me until after my test result came back. Finally another doctor came in said that I had an upper respiratory infection and gave me a prescription for some cough syrup and discharged me. No antibiotics for the infection or anything. She said if I didn't feel any better come back and they would admit me in the hospital . Two days later I still congested ,fatigued and having pain in my chest. I have to wait until tomorrow (Monday) to try to get in to see my doctor . Praying that nothing happens to me before then . I will never go back there again !!!
This is by far the worst hospital I've ever been to. I went in due to chills and just felt absolutely horrible. I waited in the waiting room throwing up for 2 hours. Someone can to take my vital, gave me a flu test. By the time I went to see a doctor all my paperwork was lost and every test had to be retaken. The doctor came in, looked in the computer and started giving me someone else's results. I looked at the computer and said oh that's not even my picture, and he laughed. Yeah very funny Doc. I wouldn't send my worst energy here.
ER is the worst part of this place. Go somewhere else because you won’t get real help here. Bias and extremely rude and unprofessional doctors, nurses are mostly fine. But doctors make the decisions and they just want to get more money out of this. I feel bad for some of the good nurses because this 1 star doesn’t go to them, it’s to these doctors that won’t listen to what they are being told and already have their minds made up. Second opinions don’t mean anything because again they already made a decision and it will get them more money. The male head Psychiatrist is the worst of them all, he was hostile and scares his patients. Multiple complaints were made about him in just the room we were in because he was rude and unprofessional. He has no place to be a psychiatrist to anyone with the attitude he has. Some people are suicidal and with the way he talks he could send someone over the edge. If they ever tell you the head of their psychiatry Is coming to see you request a different doctor you will regret it if you don’t. You’ll regret just coming to the ER here but seeing him will keep you here for days maybe even weeks so goodbye to your life. DO NOT COME TO THE ER!!!!!!
(Side note: we’re been here since 330am July 3rd and still don’t have an answer if she can be discharged or needs to be held. Over 24 hours of being held for a decision. Again this place is horrible and you’ll get better help at McDonald’s then this place.)
This is for the Radiology Department visit we had. First let me tell you we had a 10 pm MRI scheduled time on a Tuesday. Well, let me correct that, it was originally 11pm but they called and said they were ahead of schedule and we could come in at 10 if we wanted. It was nice to get moved up a bit earlier. We arrived and were done with registration within 10 minutes. The MRI tech came and took us back and explained what was going to happen. We waited about 5 minutes after that and then they took my son to get his knee MRI. The tech was very friendly and shared stories about using the same surgeon we had last year. My son's knee is/was swollen about an inch and a half more than his other leg. He could not really straighten it out. The tech explained afterward that the muscle spasms from holding it straight made getting super clear images a bit hard and took him several tries. We were still done by 11pm.
