feedback about Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Milton Inc
I am new to BID Milton and usually go to BID downtown. I went here both for a physical and to get my blood drawn this week. Dr. Jared Andre was top notch. He is friendly, but firm.
At the blood lab, Ashley gave me the most painless blood draw I've ever had.
Lots of room for improvement in this place. Very disorganized. I hope I never have to be treated here. More money and better leadership would go a long way to provide patients proper health care. And more professionalism from the staff.
Honestly, terrible experience. I would much rather drive to Boston than get “service” here. It’s sad that I go in for an emergency routine and end up leaving with no answers and getting discharged, not even by a doctor and without speaking to a doctor since I first arrived. My first doctor and first nurse were attentive. Other than that, terrible. I waited hours and was neglecting for hours while the nurses were all talking about their personal lives. So unprofessional. Very disappointed.
My advice is not to go to this hospital if you have an emergency. The wait was 4hrs. The waiting room is dirty and small. The staff has no people skills. The doctors are overwhelmed and uncaring. There is no way they can give patients the best care. This ER needs to be closed immediately. I went in with shortness of breath and dizziness. The nurse said I was there for leg pain. No communication and they're not listening to patients.
If I could give this place 0 stars, I honestly would. If you care about your health at all, I would recommend reading this and other similar reviews. I came to the ER during a weekend with cough/chest related issues. They took my vitals and registered me as a patient in less than 30 minutes. Then they sat me in a small waiting room with other people in pain. I sat there for over 2 hours waiting for my name to be called. Then when my name was finally called I was put into a room by a nurse who disappeared. No updates. I waited 30 minutes for a doctor who came in, touched the floor and the trash then came and touched me. He did not do any proper hygiene when dealing with me. To end off the awful visit, he told me to wait 2 minutes for him to finish paperwork so I can go and I waited an extra 10 minutes. And all he had to offer me was antibiotics and two forms of medicine. Never ever ever ever again.
