feedback about Billings Clinic Hospital
Check I'm at same day care was fast while busy at the time but an appointment was made for a couple of hours later. Drop off is convenient and check in helped bring a wheelchair to assist. The exam including X-rays and foot splint was relatively fast. Next had an appointment with radiology which also was faster than expected. Overall experience was good in comparison to other medical providers.
I literally owe this hospital my life. The nurses actually care about their patients and try hard to keep u comfortable. The Doctors are diligent and have thier patients health and wellbeing at the forefront. If i could give this hospital 6 stars i would. From top to bottom this place is a topnotch facility. Id recommend this hospital to anyone in need of medical help.
Stayed Billings Clinic included ICU and multiple locations in buildings. (Have been here and am actually still here now for a few more days). I have experienced the myriad staff this hospital. From doctors, surgeons, nurses, therapists, dietitian and from the side of financial/office staff and more are all excellent. The facilities are also excellent. Treatments wonderful. The only thing that sucks is the food, honest lol. Everything else makes it a minor problem when how excellent the patients are treated.
It's listed as 24 hours, obviously that's the ER, if you want the actual "Clinic" they do close about 7pm on weekdays. The doors lock to both hospital and clinic at 8:30pm with only Emergency Access to the public. And the satelite clinics all have their different hours as well.
For the most part this is a fantastic hospital and takes care of the community. However I am leaving this review solely due to the horrible billing system and practices that need to be revised. Every bill I have ever had from this institution is hard to understand, is complicated, and is usually terrible to try and navigate. I have had multiple instances where insurance didn't cover something because the doctors here didn't provide enough information on the notes for the insurance. I have had to resubmit and watch my bills here very closely. I also get constant notices that my bills will be sent to collections while I am having them resubmitted, and when I call am always told to not worry about it. THEN WHY SEND NOTICES THAT BILLS ARE GOING TO COLLECTIONS? I could go on and on with other frustrations between the billing practices and the lack of working directly with insurance companies and putting the burden solely on the patients while threatening collections.
This is the number one complaint in the community about your organization and I hope someone is listening. Going to the hospital usually isn't a fun experience, don't make it miserable after the fact. Why can't the hospitals and insurance companies work better together for the benefit of the patient?
