Went in with my 16 year old who had fallen and got a laceration in her forearm. They cleaned it all up. Proceeded to tell me they were going to glue it; that's what they use rather than stitches. Apparently it is a faster method because they don't have to numb it according to the Dr. They wrap an ace bandage around it and give us instructions to discharge. Followed instructions!!! Mind you she fell at around 10p.m. and discharged by 12:27a.m. By 9:20 a.m. while in school the laceration started to bleed again and by 9:40 a.m. the glue had all chipped away. Unaware that any of this was happening in school, when I picked her up from the late bus after school, 6:45 p.m. I call Bon Secours and they explain that they don't usually reclose a laceration after it's been 6 hours due to higher risk of infection. Tells me that he'd need to see it to suggest what to do and recommended I call her pediatrician. I call her pediatrician and they're confused why I was told to see them if it needed to be stitched or somehow closed. By this time I'm aggravated with Bon Secours so I brought my daughter to Pocono Medical. The doctor there stated that Bon Secours never should've glued it and rather stitched it. It was too late to be stitched or glued again at this point so the doctor wound up using steri strips also known as butterfly stitch. Now because Bon Secours didn't want to take the time and stitch her laceration correctly she will have an unnecessary scar. I will never use them again nor recommend them to anyone, even for something as simple as stitches since they obviously can't even get that right ☹

Brought my 2 yr old to the ER after a fall, she had severe pain and couldn’t move her arm. The doctor in the ER said xrays were normal. The next day I picked up a copy of the images of the X-ray and the final report which all said there was no fracture, even by the RADIOLOGIST. After reviewing the images, I was able to tell by myself that there was a break in her clavicle. I took her to another hospital and they confirmed there was a break. The fracture was missed by two doctors, that is unacceptable!!

Excellent Hospital and Staff And Administration. Dr. Kwon is the best doctor/ surgeon. Connie is my favorite nurse’s aid on the second floor, and Kathy is the best on the third floor. Kim is a phenomenal nurse on the second floor and Melissa and Renee were absolutely delightful upstairs. Molina is a sweetheart as well. I have been there twice and my husband was there twice. The first time for 3 days and the second time years later for 9 days. They have excellent nurses and aids. Although some appear overworked, over all, I appreciate their attentiveness and hospitality. I highly recommend them. If I could change 2 things to make my husbands stay better - steer clear of Nurse Gina- and the third floor boss named Karen who flat out lied to me with a smile on her face and tried to humiliate me for asking for help with something while I was taking care of my ill husband. I will not take stars away from my 5 stars but I would have those two individuals retrained or removed from their position. They clearly do not deserve to work in such an important position. I wonder how many folks they’ve hurt or insulted. Sad people. You can tell who loves their job and who is in it for the money. 98% of the folks we met were excellent and therefore 5 STARS IS WELL DESERVED!

Horrible, uncaring staff that don't return voicemails and hand you over to someone else when they don't want to deal with you. Unacceptable.
