This hospital makes New York City hospitals look really good. Nurses laughing, rapping, gossiping amongst each other with no regard to those in the ER who may be trying to rest and relax considering their in the ER for reasons that's probably elevating their stress level. So some peace and quiet would go a long way. Not to mention that after 9 hrs of being in there, her nurse only checked on her 5 times and I had to walk out to find a nurse to let them know that her pain is elevating.

I was treated with the utmost care and compassion during a recent visit to Bon Secours DePaul Medical Center. The registration, nursing, physician and radiology staff went out of their way to protect my privacy, take care of my physical needs and comfort me and my family during a very difficult time. Staff were responsive to my needs, listened to me and provided great clinical care. I am so thankful.

Horrible service, came at 8pm people that came in after me we're called before me now 11pm and still nothing. I'm disgusted with this place and how the staff treats people with there I don't give an eff attitude. Train your employees better to have better customer service skills. First and last time ever going.

I have yet to have a single positive experience with DePaul Medical Center. From errors in scheduling, billing, and communication; to showing up and bring forced to cancel an MRI because the radiology receptionist refused to check in anyone who did not check in at patient registration... When the entire office decided to go home early since it was Friday. They accidentally diagnosed me with a communication disorder instead of a G.I. disorder because their radiologists and doctors do not know how to spell, which caused a huge issue with my insurance. Mystery bills of up to 1500 dollars that you get zero warning about. I've had to argue with a front office assistant about the existence of the "Radiology and imaging department" because as she insisted, "I don't know what you talking about. I've never heard of radiology. The only people who need MRIs need to go to Oncology so I'm gonna send you there". When I reported this the office manager could have cared less. Extremely poor quality of care, customer service, and organization. I'm surprised that this hospital has even 2.1 stars. I would rather wake up on a sidewalk than DePaul Medical center if I needed help. I now drive to Newport News for healthcare and it is worth the time, cost, and risk.

Went to the ER for treatment, left with additional headache. They did absolutely nothing but run up a bill.
