This review is directly to the outpatient infusion center, or OPIC, at St. Francis Hosp. I have been going here for treatment as part of my history of breast cancer and I have been disappointed on several occasions, including today. The front staff changes all the time and they continue to have incompetent people behind the desk. The access is undesirable for working individuals, with their last appointment at 4pm. I had a 4pm appointment today and was rescheduled because the person behind the desk was too lazy to enter my new insurance info into the system. I did not have my physical card but I had all the information available for them to use (picture of the front and back of my card). I wanted to make sure it was on file because I did not want a huge bill after my injection because it wasn't entered into my account. She looked so confused and lost and clearly did not know how to troubleshoot anything. I went home (since I live 5 minutes away) and literally returned at 4:15 to provide my new card for my later appointment and they had closed....at 4:15! I met a nurse as she was walking out the door and simply said 'sorry, maybe you can call and provide the info'. I explained that I had the info the first time I came in. So much for access Bon Secours Mercy Health!! Do they even work a full 8 hour day??? I am so frustrated because good customer service is so hard to find these days and it surely hasn't been found here at the front desk (on several occasions). If it wasn't for me doing my part to take care of my health, I definitely wouldn't come back to this place.

I would give 5 stars but the room smelled like urine.

On a positive note **My nurse was super sweet and attentive. The establishment is beautiful/ mosaic. I will deliver here soon but will surely bring some cleaning supplies to curb my OCD 😣

The company as a whole has changed over the last few years. Would not recommend visiting or working here if you are a minority who is looking for growth and development. There is a buddy buddy system here where many potential hires are overlooked and under paid if actually hired. Other surrounding healthcare companies pay higher per hour. Spent years there as a dedicated employee only to be forced to resign out of fear of retaliation when I spoke up about discrimination. Would not recommend visiting as a employee or patient.

I just went through a sedated MRI at Saint Francis Medical center with the best group of people from the Radiology Department. The great nurse that assisted me was Bonnie D. What a wonderful and very personable lady, always checking on me to make sure that I'm as comfortable as I can be.
I have nothing but the best to say about this nice place.

I usually love St. Francis and they are my go to hospital and still is. But, twice I had rude service from the nurses. With condescending attitudes and pure rudeness over my blood drawn even though I been polite and pretty helpful in showing where the best areas to drawn blood from me is. The nasty few jump to the conclusion I am being difficult with blood drawns though I constantly remind them I am a hard stick and fear is bit the issue.

Just today one nurse stuck me so hard I gripped the bed in pain. She assumed I was moving away and snapped at me about it. I calmly told her I am sorry but, it was not whathappen she cut me off and rant about how I shouldnt move during blood drawns. I told her I am very aware of it but, I really was not moving and she was wrong about my reaction and told her I am aware of the reason and she so rudely said “are you sure about that?” And gave me a look like I was stupid and lying.

(She was a curly blond RN, her badge name was cover but it had her kids on it)

Anyway, I am done being polite. I guess me being nice and mild mannered means I get to treated like a stupid patient. Even my family members said they were rude
