I have only had experiences with the birthing center at Borgess. Both times I have delivered there, the Borgess staff had been outstanding. The nurses, midwives, and doctors have been attentive, accommodating, and extremely friendly. I would highly recommend delivering a baby at Borgess Hospital!

I wish thumbs down was an option for my experience at Ascension Borgess Hospital surgical unit ! My mother had a out patient surgery we were placed in the worst waiting room I have ever been in !! One window and 40 people crammed in what was once 2 maybe 3 patient rooms! Families just sitting on top of people! Then if your loved one has to stay over night the family gets to see them as soon as they go to there room! If your loved one is outpatient you don’t get updates regularly you get a lit up board to tell you where they are but are not allowed to see your loved one till they are ready to go home! Your asked if your a big family to go to the atrium and sit but have no way of knowing where your loved one is until they call you! Oh but there is no cell service here so you wouldn’t know anything anyways! I would honestly never even come here not even to die! They don’t give a damn about family’s who are worried sick about there family member and just want to see them! But a catholic hospital and they don’t care about family or people??? You can see them when they push them out the front door!! The staff were friendly that’s the only thing I will give Borgess!!! Other than that I will push my family to get to Bronson and there doctors and facilities from now on!!!! After speaking with my mother I am even more concerned with how this surgical unit was ran! My mother was rushed out of PACU way to early following her surgery !! She even told us that she was asked to go to the chair and out of the bed! She stated no she was tired and nauseous!! When she got up to use the bathroom and came out she stated the bed was gone and she was then placed in a chair till she was wheeled to the door!! This facility which is catholic and supposed to care for there patients and families doesn’t care! Seems like it’s all about the money!!! I am beyond disappointed in how this facility and experience was ran! My mother and family will not be coming back to Borgess!! The only good experience was the staff! Yo them thank you!

I should of never been put to a room with a person that has Intestinal problem, I have a heart issue , and have a pacemaker surgery, was supposed to have a private room , every time I try to sleep she would wake me by hitting the bed to wake me, would leave television on all night and day, would drop phone call the nurse , at least 2/or more times a day would have someone come in to clean her bed, the smell was terrible, I will never recommend , This hospital, the nurses Were great, very Concerned about my well-being I refused To stay any longer, finally they found me another room, after midnight, I feel that this hospital should take care of the patients, that has serious problems that need urgent care , like heart problems, All they want is to make sure they get paid and not about the patients

The Doctors and staff have been wonderful to my Mother. She was sent home by Niles hospital and 10 days later had her 2nd heart attack and Borgess got everything addressed and she is on the road to recovery. The Critical Care unit and staff were top notch. The nurse Lindsey went above and beyond. Thank You!

Four hours in ER waiting room in wheel chair, cannot walk and still waiting to be seen. In extreme paint. Never seen such poor service in my entire life. Strongly recommend Bronson.
