Rude ER staff that take forever to see patients. Night shift is the worse both the clerk up front and the nurse Julie in the ER we’ve dealt with twice. Depends which doctor is there how quick you get seen whether you’re the only patient or there are several.
The ED is horrible. Uncaring and rude staff especially nurses at night. Wouldn’t take my dog here.
Very poor experience. I was brought here at night after a complication from an out-patient surgery at a nearby facility. I was not very coherent when I first arrived because of the anaesthesia and pain medications from the prior surgery but the nurses were saying inappropriate and rude things to my husband about me and my medical status. They had never had me as a patient but were asking him if I was there to just get drugs.
I was woken up abruptly at 7:00 a.m. the next morning still not fully coherent but I do remember this part. I was not assessed by any doctors or anyone, was not asked how I felt or anything. I was literally woken up and given discharge papers and shoved out the door by 7:15 a.m. My husband didn't even get a chance to speak to anyone. I was still in excruciating pain and having panic attacks when they sent me home. I felt very neglected and I am very upset at this experience. It's not even a large hospital so they were not super busy or packed from what I saw. They even made me fill out a menu for breakfast the night before and I got no meal (that part wasn't that big a deal but still). I do not recommend going here for an in-patient stay or for surgery.
I wish they were open 24/7
Very rude people working in the ER and not to mention I called and gave the guy all of the complete information and was then told that me leaving my info to have such patient to contact me would and is against the government discretion. Dr lowery hmmmm what a doctor you are.
