Made an appointment to see Dr. Zagvazdina with the receptionist for the soonest available. The receptionist called me 2 weeks before the appointment to cancel the appointment because the doctor wouldn't be in that day. I rescheduled with the receptionist for 2 months latter. I arrived to the office early for the appointment at 11am. I am told by the receptionist that I will have to wait for hours because my issue is not important. At 3pm the doctor still hasn't seen me and all the other patients even those who had arrived after me have been seen.
This care and management is outrageously horrible.
My husband had Thyroid Cancer Surgery and was admitted for several days on the 9th floor. The nurses were AWESOME!! Friendly, smiling, helpful and so very caring. The room was kept clean all day, linens changed daily. Food was excellent (yes, that is true!). The surgery department kept me informed and were very pleasant to be around. The care received made this very stressful time amazingly pleasant. If you ever need a surgeon, we highly recommend Dr. Ghadiali. We cannot thank him enough for his expertise and caring.
Horrible. My great grandma Fell on 2/03/18 and came 2/04/18 they drugged her up. Now she is unresponsive and I have a large family they’re only letting 3of us go at a time. They went let us go on the second floor (where my grandma is in Uci.This Hospital is very horrible I don’t recommend coming here ever. U should probably go to Boca or any where else but here.
My experience at Broward Health North was phenomenal. I recently came out of a coma and had to do my two week rehabilitation there where I had to learn to walk, talk and do everyday needs for my self (occupational therapy). The nurses, PCA's are attentive and are some of the most compassionate people. The rehabilitation team is amazing. I was the youngest one in there for two weeks and they kept me motivated and spirits high. Never thought I would be having to learn to walk again, but Broward Health North got me to do it. By the time I left I was able to walk on a walker (March 2017) and now I am jogging in the gym. I thank you BH North. Could have done it without you!
My husband was admitted on November 17, 2017. He was brought in because he had a drastic change in his ability to function. He was previously independent and is not completely dependent for care. He has had multiple tests with no diagnosis. I was told several weeks ago that he would have a special test completed on his spinal fluid and the results would take weeks to come back. I asked almost daily for the results and was told they were pending. I found out yesterday that the hospital denied the test due to cost and that it was never done. My husband is total care now and we have wasted weeks waiting for a test that was never done. I am not indigent. I have insurance. This is totally unacceptable and unbelievable.
