I had to bring my mom to the emergency room and they had to admit her to a room. Everyone here was very polite and respectful. The care she received was good and through. Only a few missteps but all together they do a good job. Food is good and the cafeteria is very affordable.

8 hours in ER waiting room with bleeding patient, still not seen! However, somehow they can find a bed and sandwich in 30 minutes for a homeless guy. Understand that things get slammed but really they need to have as plan better than to stack patients.

Absolutely terrible. Staff seems to damn dumb to even get dressed let alone be a hospital. The wait is ridiculous and the gentlemen in the room over was yelling for someone to the point that I went in there to tell him I'd hunt a nurse down. They completely forgot about my wife and I and then forgot to take her IV out. After the wait the doctor told us roughly 3 sentences that didn't help us at all and left. Will NEVER come here again. Would rather be in agony and go to Tucson then come here. Absolutely terrible.

I am writing on behalf of a neighbor who did not want to review her experience for fear of reprisal of some sort. She was having a medical crisis after having ingested a grain of rice that went into her lung cavity. She was coughing and coughing and could hardly breathe. After waiting for a long time in the ER, a nurse told her that they could not help her because they were unable to get a radiologist to come in and read any Xray or CAT scan that they may take. I never heard of such a thing in my life--a so-called hospital that turns away a patient. So, my neighbor had to drive to Tucson to get help. This place is a dump and unworthy to call themselves a medical center. They are more like an inefficient urgent care center that is very limited in what they can provide. Sierra Vista has no real hospital unless you are a little sick. If you are seriously ill, head for Tucson or Bisbee.

HUGE RAVE FOR PA RICH COOMBS! he is the most caring PA, He took such great care of my 2 month old daughter last night. She gave us all a scare but he stayed with her and made her feel much better. He walked us through every step and make sure we understood what was going on. He not once questioned himself. THANK YOU SO MUCH RICH!
