feedback about Cape Fear Valley-Bladen County Hospital
A hospital is better than no hospital. Expect long waits in the ER at almost any time of day. This has been the norm for my 20+ years here, and not sure if any hospital is better these days. Some awesome staff and some we all wonder why they are here. It's a hospital in a very rural area and has limited resources. They transfer out most major issues to Fayetteville (cape fear) which is the hospital that runs this one.
Worst hospital experience EVER. Staff was extremely rude and not welcoming at all. I strongly recommend you go elsewhere if you’re looking to feel better. I’ll take that two hour drive to chapel hill before I ever return to Bladen county hospital.
The ladies from the womans services were and are the best and to shut down the baby area was not right the was the only and best department at that hospital I had surgery and I saw the ladies who helped deliver my baby girl during my 24hr stay they are still the best
This is one of the worst hospitals I have ever been to in my entire life... I have never been disrespected or treated so unkindly and so rude it is ridiculous... The the nurse in the triage room told me that I was overreacting and a hypochondriac and being overdramatic and then before taking an x-ray of my arm which could not even hold I had to literally hold my arm he just pulled and yanked on it before he even took an x-ray I would never ever go back they have no empathy for anybody if I were you I would never ever take your child or anybody for that matter to this hospital this is one of the worst hospitals I've ever been to in my life like I said I wouldn't take my worst enemy to this Hospital the doctors are rude inconsiderate... They the doctor basically yelled at my three-year-old for touching something I mean it's just it's unreal how rude and disrespectful these people are and they should be shut down....
The ER gets a one star because Dr. Murphy in the ER was not concerned with any patients except for young girls. The ER staff was horrible. We have to wait 12 hours to get a room they did not give my dad his medicine until we demanded. But I would give a five star to the staff in intensive care units. All the staff there were great and helpful. Dr. Hopkins is great is a five star doctor. Dr. Green is great too!
