Terrible service, and doctors and nurses at least on the night shift. I wouldn't recommend this hospital to anyone. All they do is judge and 90% of the time they are wrong. Nurses made fun of me instead of finding out what was wrong with me and sent me home with a huge bill and yes there was something wrong. There is no telling how many people they have done this to.

The ER is a joke. The only hospital I have ever been to where the doctor will order thousands of dollars in testing to be done, and then NEVER come back to speak to you regarding any type of result, just send on a CNA to discharge you. When you ask for the test results the CNA just responds "oh, I don't know, but your doctor already left his shift" ... WOW. Also, during my time there, I was told that "they haven't forgotten about me, they just had an emergency come in." UM? Isn't that why we are all here? I will just save my time and money next time and go somewhere that is worth it where you get the answers you need.

My feet are swollen like footballs and they did bloodwork and said my cardiac enzymes were fine from my CHF. I asked them to run more tests because there's an underlying reason for my feet being swollen like footballs and they refused to run more tests. I told the nurse and tech that I refused to leave till more tests were run. They then proceed to kick me out of the hospital with a security guard escorting me out of the hospital. On top of that the social worker there is very uneducated about medicaid emergency transportation and refused to find out more and wanted me to do it because she assumed I was lying. It's in her job description to this and she made it my job. This hospital is pathetic and does not follow the hippocratic oath!

Long wait time. Dr carter was rushing and only did a blood test. And several of the nurses had bad attitudes. I understand their job is tuff but nobody wants negativity when they are scared.

A hospital is better than no hospital. Expect long waits in the ER at almost any time of day. This has been the norm for my 20+ years here, and not sure if any hospital is better these days. Some awesome staff and some we all wonder why they are here. It's a hospital in a very rural area and has limited resources. They transfer out most major issues to Fayetteville (cape fear) which is the hospital that runs this one.
