My wife has been in this place for a week. I quit expecting medical professionalism about day 2. Now we are just begging for human decency. I have never in my life seen such incompetentcy. The only department that did their job was the ER.

Had a family member stay here for a few days. The only care my father got was when I was there for him. Nurses are keeping chairs warm instead of actually checking on patients. You will see nurses wandering around on their cell phone constantly. They will also chat about patient information throughout the hospital. Nothing has improved. You get better care when you know someone there or if you have connections. You can see it when people get special food and visits through the day. You will also hear patients constantly yelling through the day about pain and having a nurse check on them. The food people were all useless except Cindy. She was the only one who actually cared about the food.

Managers do nothing about drama, liars, and their buddies. Good workers leave because of this. Expect to clean up everything on night crew. Family members cause a lot of grief. You can talk to no one about anything. Too many snitches and cry babies.

I worked around the kitchen area. You are guaranteed to be doing all the dirty work and heavy lifting if you are a guy. Management barely walks into the kitchen except to see what she can complain about. If you are not part of the sisterhood, then plan to be working more. You will hear constant whining, every day, of how their life is bad and their choices didn't cause it. They go through guys like toilet paper. Very poor life choices they have made and they blame everyone but themselves. Nurses always give out information on patients while walking through the hospital. No one appreciates any work you do and just count you as a number. Hospital management have no idea who you are. Patients are literally the only ones that will actually talk to you because of the attention you give them with the food.

Unfortunately, I had an unexpected stay at this hospital for a week. It started out in ER, where the doctors realize I needed ongoing care and more tests. The staff may my stay very pleasant. After one minor surgery, I was well enough to be released. I was glad to leave but the staff their was kind and polite.
