The ER, Housekeeping, Nursing, and especially Susan in Food Services were all very good during my 10 day stay. I had a long wait in the ER but it was full. Dr. Sing was wonderful and diagnosed me quickly and got the correct medicines to me for my very serious kidney infection and admitted me for a 10 day antibiotic treatment. I am grateful for her wisdom. I went there because I had been given another antibiotic for 5 weeks that was not working. This ER doctor prevented me from becoming Septic and possibly dying.

I have visited here twice. Both times the staff has been proficient and helpful. The first time I had to wait a bit but was not rushed through care once recieved as I had been at previous establishments. They were very thorough even when full and this second time I didn't have a long wait period and received well rounded care.

WORST HOSPITAL EVER! When we come in 2 nights in a row concerned about our infant child's breathing and you say "Oh no he's fine. There's nothing wrong." And send us home, that makes you a joke of a hospital and jokes of doctors and nurses. If I was dying of an illness I would rather risk the 10 extra miles to go to Catawba Memorial before I would this hospital. When you say that your busy in the ER but your back rooms are empty and you have time to cut up and laugh and joke right outside our room that makes you a joke. I will be seeking legal advice on how to deal with this hospital as this makes about the 8th time I have had to deal with unprofessional and moronic doctors and nurses. If you want to contest my statement feel free too but I have yet to see anything to change my mind.

Absolutely NOT the hospital to go to especially if you have a loved one that is a Type 1 Diabetic. They aren't classified as a major risk yet someone comes in with a sniffle and are taken back immediately. Trying to get an IV, they caused a knot to form in my fiance's hand and yet continued to try to put the IV in the blown vain. They do not take things seriously as they should. You're better off going to Kings Mountain or even Gastonia to be treated.

My experience in outpatient dept. had been top notch with excellent professional prompt personnel. I have had to have a number of appointments for various procedures since last fall and have been very impressed by the friendliness & promptness of all the staff and professional personnel who were involved in providing the services I was referred for. My Doctor is in Charlotte but when he needs tests blood work or other procedures I always come to this hospital because of the caring and professionalism of the people! Believe me, when I compare my treatment here to my experiences with the hospital in Gaston Co ( which is my home) it is well worth the extra miles. I feel like I’m a person who is cared about , not just another case to get done and go on to something else.
