My trip to the ER last night was actually a really positive experience. The PA, Wade Swatsworth, was able to lessen my anxiety and perform a painful procedure in a very professional yet gentle way. The staff were all so genuinely kind and caring. To my surprise, I was not shoved into a cubicle and left for hours. What a great place! Thank you!

I can not believe that there is "NO" cafeteria at the hospital anymore. I realize they are Maybe building a new hospital... but really that sucks... Not only for us but mostly for the employees that work there. I sat there for hours on Sunday and wanted something to eat later in the day and found out there was no cafeteria. There should be some kind of notification some place letting people know this. LOL now it is Tuesday and believe it or not there is a food truck out side. How funny is that. And to top it off they told me they do not even prepare the patient's meals in site... They are prepared at Country Manor. Please tell me what happens when and if there is a storm or what ever the North country can have happen and they can not transfer food from one place to another??? Then what!!! Just saying... It could happen here anytime of the year!!!

As soon as i arrived at the ER i didn’t have to wait at all. I was at the hospital for 4-5 hours but the whole time the nurses were actively helping me and working on me. All of the doctors and nurses were extremely nice and helpful. I would definitely come back and never go back to Samaritan!!!

I will let the photos do the talking... but just to point out there was a bloody item in the trash can (one of two that had trash from the last patient) the carpet was obviously not vacuumed (dead moth and trash compacted into the carpet) the leads were covered in filth and hair from the previous patients. The bedding and pillow cases had curly black hair all over it and to make things worse there was no temperature control and it was very humid. So if they are trying to make it the worst possible sleep session, they take first place. This was the sleep center at Carthage Hospital. If I could give negative starts I would give infinite stars for failing at a task that thousands of motels, hotels and resorts have mastered... cleaning a room. Very disappointed and I would never recommend anyone no matter how low your standards are ever chose this facility to sleep in.

This hospital is amazing. Everyone was very friendly, very caring & did their job accordingly! Labor & delivery is Waayyyy better than samaritan hands down.
