The staff and doctors were incredible. I came in to the ER with appendicitis and was given top quality care from the moment I entered. Can't say enough good things about this hospital!

The billing department is horrible, I have been making a large monthly payment on my account for an emergency surgery and they are still threatening to send my account to collections. I will NEVER go this hospital again for the way I have been treated!

The worst wait everrrrrrr. You minds well not get sick at a certain time because you won’t be seen until the evening.

I will begin this with stating that I am a nurse. Cayuga employees treat their volunteers miserably. They do not have the class, courtesy or professionalism to make them feel welcome. They are rude. I know of students from Cornell and Ithaca whom were ignored by the nurses at Cayuga. They introduce themselves and offer to help and do not even receive a courteous reply. If they ignore their volunteers, imagine the lack of attention they give to patients! I worked in a tertiary care center in Westchester county... we appreciated and valued our volunteers. That courtesy was extended to our patients.

Trying to get an X-ray appointment, took forever to speak with a human; kept on hold forever. Asked to "hold a second" twice, then put on maddening interminable hold with maddeningly silly background "music." This is NOT service. Come on, people, you can do better.
