HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE - I WOULD NOT GO THERE!!!!!! In my opinion, they are heartless and cruel people. I went there 2 years ago for an eye emergency, they charged me over $2400 (and would not budge on the bill) and I was there for no more than 2 hours. The most they did during that time is give me eye drops and look into my eye for debris and sent me home. They actually charged me for eye drops that I never got. The doctors that are associated with that hospital are not any better.
Their collections department (even though I paid a monthly amount) were worse than the people in their billing department. Again, I would not go there again. If I could give a ZERO for a score, I would have given a ZERO or a negative rating. There was ONE DOCTOR I would go back to and I don't remember his name, but the rest are NOT worth your time and definitely not worth the pain associated with doing business with them.
Let one of their "representatives" tell you this is an ATYPICAL experience. Read below.
A wonderful hospital with a great staff. The doctors here seem to be very well qualified. Two of my children were born here and we were treated very well. The nursing staff for infants is great and always friendly.
Absolutely terrible place. They forcibly took my insurance card and treated me against my will. They are liars and thieves. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!
Update: This place is a disgusting example of health care. They only care about money and not human beings. If you set foot in this place a doctor can charge you for anything, even if you refuse, because their "doctor" deemed it necessary. I refused to sign anything and still had to pay them in order to avoid collections. Their patient advocate is a dismissive joke and does nothing to actually help you.
If you need help, you're better off going absolutely anywhere else. If you're a doctor looking for a job, do yourself a favor and don't associate yourself with this garbage.
There's an unfortunate number of reviews here that support everything I've written.
Was forced in by a rue DO who offices next door. Next thing I know, a needle is being shoved into my arm and a BP Cuff is on the other. I'm a hostage. The water I asked for was about two ozs if that much. A urinal was placed next to the cup of water (nice, huh?). The bed was hard as a rock. Enduring two hours of back numbness, I was turning side to side in pain. There was NO call button and no one came to check on me. I removed the cuff and the IV and walked out. Worst experience ever in a medical facility.
Amazing hospital!! Best care in the country! All the people posting about having a “bad experience” are just giant babies, because their hang nail didn’t get urgent attention. Pay no attention to them. Thank you for all you do!
