Just moved here from the Midwest where we are used to just about everyone, including strangers, being friendly. I expected cold treatment and being shuffled through but every person I encountered was kind, friendly, and very professional and polite. I had a battery of pre-op tests done today in different departments and was pleasantly surprised at how nice and helpful everyone was. Even a nurse in the hall who was taking care of someone else saw that I was lost and offered to help me find my way. I’m feeling positive about my upcoming surgical experience here!
Very long ER wait times. The staff as a whole was not very welcoming and slightly confrontational. I had questions regarding my bill and sent in the authorization to disclose all of my records to be mailed to myself and didn't receive most of what I requested. Despite explaining that I was waiting for these prior to paying my balance, my bill was sent to collections. I highly recommend avoiding this hospital.
Since the owner's response below, I have called the patient experience department twice, left messages both times after no one answered, and have yet to speak with someone.
Horrible, just horrible how they treat the elderly patients!!! My father in law don't get changed until we come in and complain and even then they say he has to wait!! So he sits in a soaking wet bed and a very messy diaper!! Inexcusable!!
When we come in the morning he is soaked and messy diaper from the night before!! All they do is drug him so he don't complain! So all he does is sleep! I don't understand how they get away with this! They dont give him water because he wets too much, not even in iv..please DO NOT BRING YOUR ELDERLY PARENTS HERE..!!!!!
Fix your elevators! I was there all last week and only one elevator was in service. I got a call from them that my terminally ill father was in his last minutes of life. Took 10 minutes after getting into the building to get to him... by the time I got there he had passed just moments earlier Granted we knew this was coming but lousy management doesn't help the situation. I can't be the only one with a story like this. The nurses and staff were very polite by the way.
Service was pretty fast and efficient and the staff where considerate and patient. Granted I am here on a early Saturday morning which is probably a slow time and therefore a more pleasant time to be in a hospital. I'm giving my Five Stars based on this experience. Also the hospital is clean and modern with parking small Eatery and everything that you would need in a well-equipped hospital.
