Conway Medical Center

Went for a ruptured ovarian cyst a few days ago. Have these chronically so very familiar with the symptoms. Came in and waited almost 3 hours. Then met with Dr. who performed no imaging or exams. Said it was abdominal pain and to follow up with gyno. Blood pressure was also 190/114. Did nothing for that. Went to Baptist the following morning and had a cyst that ruptured and I was causing internal bleeding. Had to have emergency surgery for it. Dr. had said it would have been noticeable on CT or ultrasound. Unethical. Will never go back!

my 6 month old son was choking, not breathing, was lethargic and had to be rushed to the hospital from an ambulance. he was starting to get better when we got to the emergency room, but he was still pretty restless. didn’t get in to see anyone for 3 HOURS!!! all they told us was that he was fine and that his airway was fine. all for nothing. never will go back here.

We went to this ER after my husband injured his calf and was sure something tore based on past experience and the loud popping sound that the people walking with him heard too. The check in and triage procedure were great which helps in justifying the one star. The care however was awful. The NP that preformed the examination barely touched my husband’s leg. She asked a few questions but completely dismissed all of his concerns and everything he said. She said he had a muscle strain and to follow up with his primary care physician if it wasn’t better in a couple of days an tried to send us in our way. We requested crutches, as he could not walk, which they did provide. The next morning we were able to get him an appointment with his orthopedic doctor and it turns out he had a ruptured tendon in his calf. We won’t go to this hospital again!

What an absolute disappointment in a hospital.... I was here today waiting on my girlfriend to be seen that has been running fever. She had to go get our tire fixed at Walmart. I told them I was waiting on my girlfriend to get back for her to be seen. Which was the complete truth. Security came to me and told me I had 20 mins for her to get there or I have to wait out side in the heat for her until she gets here. I said ok I’ll call her. 2 mins later while I’m on the phone with her he looks at me and tells me to hang up on my girlfriend and said he changed his mind that it clearly wasn’t an emergency and told me to get out. I went outside and went to the main part of the hospital where no one was and started to wait inside there because my blood sugar drops. I have bad hypoglycemia. He then comes to me there and tells me to get out of HIS hospital and makes me wait outside. My girlfriend arrived mins later and I made her go to baptist in Conway. I will not give them her time. Nor her money if they are going to treat people that away. If I could give them 0 stars I would!! It’s pathetic. I also was cussed out 2 weeks ago there by a nurse. I’m not going into that because it’s too long of an explanation. I have been there a lot for my anxiety and I get that they get annoyed by people but that gives them no excuse to treat patients the way they do!!!! I’m not saying all staff there is bad. There are a few nurses and docs that have been amazing to me. But they need to restaff the people that are mean there. Like I just said not all people are bad there. But the ones that are need to find another job!!!!!!!! I will be reporting them come Tuesday after Labor Day..

I have NEVER had as many problems with a hospital as I have with Conway Regional. I have has many surgeries, and seen many doctors at multiple hospitals. I would drive to another state before going to this hopital.
