Great hospital. No long waiting in the emergency room. Patient rooms are very spacious. Outpatient department staff are great. Caliber of doctors is outstanding. Nurses are the best I've ever encountered. I can't say enough of the Doctors, Nurses, Staff, Cafeteria personnel, and Volunteer staff of this hospital. OUTSTANDING people!!

From the ER to the operating room and then on to recovering there for five days the doctors, nurses, food staff and maintenance were excellent! The care and compassion shown by the staff was by far one of the best experiences I’ve had in a hospital. The nurses were constantly checking on me to see if I was doing good and if I needed anything, the doctors were personable and actually listened to my concerns and questions. Just a great experience from the moment I went in to discharge.

DO NOT USE THIS HOSPITAL!!!!!!! Four hours for a knee brace? FOUR HOURS! Absolutely no sense of urgency for the patient. 2 hours for a nurse to come into the room. 3 hours to see someone who went to medical school. This is the worst hospital I’ve ever been too. 12 nurses standing around laughing cutting up while I got to listen to my girlfriend crying in pain.

Arrived at ER with my daughter that was being treated for abscess in her armpit. Her hands were burning and very red she screamed every time they moved. They took her right back so I took a min to call a couple family members and my work. She called me from her cell phone saying No one was helping her and the pain was getting worse. So I went to the back to try to calm her down. When I got to the back 3 nurses at their station having a nice chat. I asked for direction to my daughters room. Went in her room she was rolling in pain begging for me to help her. She is grown but she is my child. So I went out to the desk and said, "She is freaking out and in a lot more pain " NO one moved but 1 nurse spoke very LOUD " she is waiting on the physician " and I said ok I just thought someone would be monitoring her. Louder this time she repeated. SHE IS WAITING ON THE PHYSICIAN! SO I turned to walk back to my daughter's room and she made a comment about 8am so I stopped and said what was that you said. " 8am for Dr." She was up from behind the desk very quick and said EXUSE ME! SO repeated did you say around 8am for the Dr. She said NO I DIDN'T . As she follows me in my daughters room saying she already called security because in her words. WE ARE NOT DOING THIS TODAY! WE WERE ESCORTED OUT. SHE IS IN GRAND STRAND ICU RIGHT NOW. I feel I was very nice I never raised my voice at all. My daughter was loud but she was screaming from the pain. I will never take my FAMILY here ever AGAIN. Now my daughter getting the help that she begged for at Conway hospital but was turned away.

I had an outpatient procedure done at this hospital in summer of 2018 and was very impressed with efficiency and pleasant attitude of all staff I encountered. That all changed this afternoon when I took my son to the emergency department to see if he could be helped with an injection prior to a doctors appointment. The young girl in the emergency department couldn’t even reply to my smile and “Hello” when we entered the room to tell her why he was there. After that we were taken back to a room in emergency where we were seen by a male doctor who acted like we were bums off the street looking for free care. He was rude!! We will be half dead or unable to speak for ourselves before we go back to the emergency department there.
