Although my stay was in January of this year, I will never forget the kindness that was shown to me. When I went to the emergency room I was treated with respect and concern. The staff was very attentive to my needs. Once I was admitted and taken my room the level of care that I received was top notch. Every physical complaint was examined. X-rays and/or blood work was done with in a day of complaint. Physical therapy excelled in their care of me. The food was good. But most of all the help I received for my particular situation was above and beyond the scope of what was expected. And I am very grateful!!!
Prepare for a 1-hour check-in since the hospital doesn't use any of the same computer systems. People are friendly when they eventually come off their breaks and are able to get to you. Apparently borrowing a dime from each other is a more important discussion than checking people in.
To make things better, at 8:50 am, the medical imaging dept was already 30 minutes behind schedule. At least I wasn't dying so was able to write this glowing review.
What a superb community hospital! I received excellent, compassionate care both in the ER and on the floor. The staff was attentive and diligent and went out of their way to meet my needs. I couldn’t ask for more.
The doctors and nurses were super friendly and very knowledgeable. Everything was very quick and a diagnosis came back fast. They treated me exceptionally and not once asked about a payment, unlike spotsy regional that only cares about the money. I will definitely be sticking to this hospital.
