Dekalb Baptist Medical Center

My wife sat out there in the emergency waiting room with stomach pain for 3 hours before even being seen. Them saying they need to wait on more nurses to come in. I will never go back to this hospital again unless I need a band-aid. That's all that y'all are good for I guess.

I took my mother here due to a staff infection, they prescribed her the very things she had listed as allergic to, so I had to take her back. I brought in my girlfriend with a high fever and screaming in pain, they had us wait in the lobby for an hour! Only to tell her that she had a UTI, the next day I took her else where and we were told that she had gallstones. That doctor suggested we take her back to Dekalb Regional to schedule surgery, they won't do it without $1,500 up front. Your health is not important to these people only your money. If you have to risk going to Gadsden, Huntsville, or Chattanooga, you won't be turned away by those with proper ethics and education.

Went to get an MRI, and they where very nice and sweet!

Currently still sitting in the E.R. waiting room. It has been close to 4 hours. To top it all off the person that is supposed to be seen is my 2 month old daughter. I understand triage and priority, but this is ridiculous. A 4 hour wait time for an E.R. that isnt even that busy is insane. By far the worst hospital I've ever been to.

I was recently a patient in the radiology department for a MRI with arthrogram. Dr. Mill's was very compassionate and did a fabulous job with the joint injection. Kathy, Alisha, and Josh went above and beyond to make my procedure a great experience! so glad we have such a great place in our town.
