I'm about 5 weeks pregnant with an abortion threat, in middle of a name change as well. Desert Valley Hospital put me thru and took me in within 15 min. Nurses and Dr were awesome. I was checked on periodically during my stay. Went home w meds and the morning after I was called by Hospital to see how I was doing. I felt really cared for. Great job Desert Valley Hospital!

Don’t go to this place between 2&5 am they treat everyone like they are either drunk or homeless. They have no regard for human life and they act like bullies on school grounds rather than medical licensed professionals and security is no better walking around like they own the filthy place. DO BETTER HIGH DESERT!!!!

Great place for a Nursing Training Hospital. Lots of potential for growth and improvement. Staff was loving and caring towards people.

Certainly the worst hospital experience we've ever had. The RNs were not helpful, did not know how to properly attach an iv. When it came to a time frame the nurse told us what we wanted to hear and not the truth.

If I could rate this place a zero I would. I'm 32 weeks pregnant and visiting for week had complications came in. 1) being as far as I was I should have been sent up to l&d not seen in actually er. 2) if patient clearly barely walking you would think they would offer a wheelchair but they didnt. The dr that initially checked me was very rude asked what was I trying for pain as I'm telling her cut me off to say did you try xyz and I clearly stated that as an option proving she wasnt even paying attention because her nurse jumped in saying, she just said she's done that already. then when she went to examine me was very rough I asked twice to be gentle and she got upset saying that I'm very irritated I'm not going to treat you you can see another dr. So I explained I'm not going to let you man handle me and I'm in extreme pain so I'm leaving this place altogether. she says go, go on then. She was Very unprofessional I said to hell with you and I walked out crying because I was so hurt that I came for help never got any and had to walk out with no assistance so I called my mother to help to find out the dr called security on me because I said to hell with her after she mistreated me and refused to address the issue. I asked for the charge nurse who is suppose to be the head person and above the dr that saw me he came out introduced himself and said nothing else just stood in front of me. I had to initiate the conversation to see what was going to be done because it was ridiculous how I was being treated and asked to leave for no reason. He DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! The only person that was civil in that entire place was a Male nurse that checked me in and the security guard that was sent to escort me. I found out as I was leaving that the dr qian that i saw has a history of complaints under her which explains the issues but doesn't excuse her behavior, the nurses, or the charge nurse behavior and poor handling of the situation. Never again will I come here even if I were dying!
