The meeting was a good experience and adding new board members a great thing..My friend who was disabled from a surgery there yrs ago a tragic accident but only last November told from another hospital exactly what happened. Not knowing she was without oxygen to her brain for gosh knows how long, a "allergic reaction," amoungst other things. lived for 8 yrs of different diagnosis grocery list of medications, had to learn to live a new life. She has never had any closure. She went from being a thriving person, great worker(never missed a day of work in her life), never on any meds, physically fit and mentally great to not knowing how to do simple everyday things, on limited income SSDI, cannot work, socialize, induced dementia., Needing caregiver and payee rep.I am so proud of her for standing up to that hospital and herself for some kind of closure. Her son lost his mother her husband lost his wife and she basically lost her life. She amazingly had a voice, which never happens Its usually mumbled, low, and very hard to hear or understand. She told me she prayed hard asking God to help her be able to speak be heard and understood. To give her strength and courage..her prayer was answered. I'm very optimistic about the outcome that the right thing will be done and she get her money she paid for the surgery that changed her life forever. Whatever the outcome is I'm proud of her and was very impressed with the new public relations guy. He came out and apologized to her and told her how brave she was. He wants to do everything he can to help give her closure. I thank him. God bless and hopefully this will never happen again if it does tell family. Very clean place and friendly atmosphere. Now Commission Compliance Interests has her case and will keep you posted on the end result..

Labor and delivery are exceptional, my daughters pediatrician is amazing. We have had no problems out of the amazing facilities.

Horrible! The staff is un-professional and have no empathy towards patients that are struggling with depression. I can’t believe the way my family member was treated during such a delicate time in her life. It makes me sick to my stomach. I can see why it is so hard for people to reach out and ask for help when needed.

I still have nerve damage in my wrist from an extremely incompetent "NP" forcing an IV into my arm in January. Not even into a vein. Almost passed out from the pain but she blamed it on me being nervous at the sight of blood. Would not recommend their ER.

Guess my experience there that disabled me for life at 39 yrs old was too hoorifying for anyone to see or read.Im hoping this one gets posted.Went there for simple laproscopic procedure to remove a fibroid tumor. Complications in RECOVERY Room were not addressed properly, no follow up care, ended up with a disability due to complications. Due to the unexplained complications, I went back to my high paying job that supported my family, I loved my job, never missed a day of work there or at my Licensed Day Care I had at home before moving up here. I was frugile, excelling In my life, 2 yrs from my goal of opening a non profit animal rescue. To make long story short I had no track of time, was shaking uncontrollably, couldn't remember what my job was.My 15 yr old son suffered terribly as his mother was a different person and had to help me do simple things; my husband at the time was in such a shock, denial thinking I would get better. I was subject to different diagnosis, put on all these meds. I never took meds prior to the surgery. Only 1 that was from lifelong ADHD. With all these conditions I didn't know I had, I suffered daily at work until I had a nervous break down and was diagnosed with induced dementia, induced bipolar1, GAD. Got on SSDI assigned payee rep, live in caregiver, recently found out from a caring anesthesiologist that actually follows his oath i believe all Drs take. He looked into my disabling surgery and talked with my live in caregiver and mother about his discovery and how high of a risk I was due to the previous surgery where I had lack of oxygen to my brain. He was told it was allergic reaction from one of the many drugs in my IV. (Never had any allergies prior to that surgery)I was very extremely healthy, (mind and body) I ran 3and 1/2 miles a day, fostered elderly dogs from local shelter, while being breadwinner. Also attended son's field trips, loved him having his friends over, loved cooking for them planning the birthday parties. Now I don't even know who I am and live in fear of the day I know no1. Worst part is that I can't get closure. I was self pay; being so healthy I was going to get the Blue Cross Blue sheild insurance when I turned 40. Never was sick even when worst flu was going around work. Very sadly I paid thousands of dollars for the surgery that robbed me of my life. While on medical leave I got the insurance. Was faithfully paying $550.00 monthly to DCH, and $500.00 to BCBS or vise versa , then 400.00 to DCH every month even after I was a medically indigent individual (not knowing) kept paying 50.00, 25.00 and it just sickens me that I paid for the harm done to me No one wants to take responsibility. I will say I don't believe that my Doctor that did surgery is responsible. He was great. He came out after 1hour and half and told family surgery went well and should be out of recovery in 45 min to hour tops. Recovery was well over 3 hrs, was 1st surgery of the day. Came out blown up like a balloon so much that my mother and husband didn't know it was me. All my organs Cervix, fallopian tubes, uterus, both ovaries were removed. No cancer, only 1 was a possibility. I have to say Dr. Henke is a great honest doctor, bE I went to see him about all the troubles I was having and he was very kind and told me he could no longer help me and to go see an attorney as soon as possible. I wasn't registering and asked for what but continued to walk out door. My son was always telling me " sue them look what they did to you! And would have rage when I got the bill that I was paying monthly. Happy and Proud to day my son is excelling in life. 4yrs in service right out of high school now bought a home and going to college working 2 jobs...I think in a way it definitely made him grow up way to fast, but made him stronger. He is a big contribution to society. I believe that's how I'm still here. He has great personality, everyone loves him and Im so thankful n proud. The least DCH should do is pay me my $back,soInhumane. Lucky 4 them I didn't listen to ppl they'd have paid millions.im a human being!
