In a major car accident and although not severely injured had complaints of pain and obvious swollen hand with severe pain and chest was hurting as well. Had 8 year old granddaughter and was taken to triage, she had minor cut on her head. They led us to an area where they gave her the comfortable chair and pulled in a straight back chair for me. I was so aggravated after being in waiting area for a good 30 minutes trying to fill out their forms I actually said you give the kid a comfortable chair and the old lady the most uncomfortable chair to which the lady came me a very nasty look. After about 30-40 minutes I noticed we had the wrong names on the wristband and then they began to move. They did me shots for pain and muscle relaxers but no mention of what they gave me. But even with the urinalysis, blood work, mris, and xray of my hand then waited on results another hour they wanted me to have my blood retested. Come to find out had small fracture to my hand and bloodwork showed I could have had a heart attack they wanted me to stay. I got prescription for neosporin and checkout for my granddaughter. Splint on my hand and orthopedic referral and you couldn’t have paid me to stay another minute. I checked myself out. It was at the end of a beautiful camping trip to the mountains of north Georgia and NC. Was stopping by Fitzgerald for the night before heading home to central FL the next day. My advice is if you live in the area drive the extra miles to Tifton.

I came to this hospital as a guest because my aunt was put on hospice. I asked Nurse Connie on Med Surg about accommodating with use of a shower. She responds it's only for patients. I have slept here all night and drove from Atlanta. I had to complain and call her out before she offered me a shower. They have a small hospital mentality here.

Dr Eugene Jackson is a dying breed of doctors.caring hands on listens to patients very knowledgeable very caring and has a wonderful bedside manner D octors usually make me feel anxious with Dr Jackson I feel I can discuss anything and he takes his time to explain it.the wait is a little long but you have to keep in mind that the care and time he's taking with the current PT is the same care you will receive .the most knowledgeable MD best bedside manner he's a doctor that people like me in the medical field goes to we know medicine and we trust him with our very lives

Staffers of Dorminy Hospital...wow....who rips dried gauze out of a fresh wound?Any new skin growth is stuck to the gauze Im sure.Your rudness to patients is unacceptable. You have one job,if you dislike it so much you may wanna consider an occupation change. Some, not all of the staff act like its an inconvenience to do thier job.WTH!The standards of this hospital guarantees NO growth. Also if I can be spared from your politcal views Doc..especially when my skin is in your hands,Id greatly appreciate it.
