I think since they remodeled they've gotten alot better than they used to be. Recently I've had a (over all) pretty positive experience going there. They could use more staff working there but other than that, they're good.
I'm in labor my daughter late the woman here are so sweet. My nurse Mavis is the sweetest caring woman I have ever met made my experience better .I was in so much pain and she helped me through my contractions got me food blankets anything I need I didn't even have to ask. I love this woman
On March 31 around midnight, my mom went to the ER for symptoms of what was later diagnosed to be T.I.A, and the staff there immediately tended to her. During her time in the ER rooms, the staff that cared for her were very courteous, kind, helpful and knowledgeable at what they were doing. The same is said for the Nurses that cared for my mom once she was moved up to the 3rd floor. They were compassionate and always made sure she was comfortable. When my family would leave after visiting my mom, I felt that she was in good hands.
I would like to thank all the wonderful doctors and nurses who cared for my mom during her one day and a half day stay at Emanuel! God bless!
If i could give it a no star I would. Waiting for 5 hrs in the ED lobby. They still havent called us in. I see every pt leaving because they waited so long and no one even called them in. worst hospital ever. Do not come to this hospital people. Save yourself some time and go to Memorial or Kaiser.
Thank you Emanuel Hospital
I had an amazing experience I just had my bby yesterday everyone helped me made me feel like home I would recommend this hospital I'm so lucky I had no one to share my room with so I can say I had my own..
