feedback about Etmc Henderson
Wasn’t pleased with the doctor we had at this location. The nursing staff was more knowledgeable and understanding of our situation. We requested a transfer multiple times, and she absolutely wouldn’t consider our request. We finally got discharged and went to our hospital of choice and it was like day and night. The doctor was confident and didn’t leave us wondering and questioning his diagnosis. We will definitely not be returning to this hospital. Save lives.
The last couple of times I had dealings with this ER the staff was very professional and helpful. The place was clean and the staff was efficient. They didn't waste a bunch of time, each person did his/her job quickly and professionally. The most recent was even on a holiday and the staff attitude was still excellent.
Went to have an radiological exam performed on my child because my spouse is an employee and works in the department. Check in was rather slow even though my wife had already filled out the paperwork beforehand. Radiology staff did get us in, procedure performed, and even expedited the reading by the Radiologist quickly and was the only bright spot of the experience. When we received our billing and Insurance explanations, we were quite shocked at the extremely outrageous charge for the exam. Even with the insurance discounts and insurance payments, our bill is still 3 times higher than any location in Longview, TX. This borders on robbery!!! If this is how UTHEALTH plans to do business, I’ll never have any procedure there and will utilize my influence to send my patients elsewhere.
The doctor was rude and could seem to actually care less about anything but going outside and joking with the nurses. I DO NOT RECOMMEND GOING HERE
RUN!!!! RUN!!!! RUN!!!! RUN!!!! RUN!!!! Negative stars!!
This emergancy room is really bad!! It should be a scam but it's not. They use the practice of balanced billing. This means you get a bill from the hospital, and a bill from the company that supplies doctors to the hospital. So after your insurance company has paid your emergency room visit, you get a bill from another company for the doctors services. They charge you full price for their "superb skills and bedside manner ." I had to listen to a pompous kid talk about what a bad job everyone but himself did. He was tired of fixing others mess ups. They can get your address from the hospital to send you a bill, but not your insurance to pay their bill.
