feedback about Falmouth Hospital
I had the unfortunate need to go into the ER last night, and I really appreciated how wonderful the staff was and how quickly I was seen. I was in an extreme amount of pain and was treated with such kindness and patience. I really hope not to have to go back again time soon, but if I need an ER this is exactly where I want to be. Thank you to the staff.
I recently went to the Emergency room with a bloody lesion the size of a dime on my foot. This was the fith and largest. The prior 4 had responded well to Iodine tincture. I was prescribed Mupirocin which worked well, and also on the lesions 6,7, and 8 succeeding 5. Staph Aureus was indicated. I am now finished treating lesion 18. With Iodine tincture. The problem was the poisonous additives in laundry detergents. I am now on free and clear detergent and the problem has gone. I was never asked about skin breakouts in Emergency. Had I not recalled my irritated skin 30 years prior, I would have sustained continuing problems. It could have become very serious. Further, the Iodine tincture has been causing MAT, a rapid pulse condition found in many COPD patients, of which I am one. Skin Problems????? Ask about detergents first.
Nobody answered the phone! I had to call three times before someone picked up the phone!
Dr Best? Brest? Rude and unhelpful. An ER doctor that wouldn’t even communicate with the patients family.
The nurses had a very unpleasant attitude and didn’t communicate very well either.
Stay away if at all possible!
And who’s saying that the food is good?
