I was in the emergency room last November and had an operation in December: staff was polite and courteous and respectful. A very good experience. My only complaint is that my surgeon from Blue Ridge Orthopedic was rude to me when he came to see me the next morning however, he is not an employee of the Hospital.

HORRIBLE NICU DOCTORS HORRIBLE CEO
My husband and I were talked down to by NICU doctors. Told we were unfit to be parents because we questioned treatment. What a disgrace to your hospital!!!!! I sent certified, professional letter to CEO and got a sorry response 2 months later. I am so sad for anyone who experiences what I went through as a Mom. TERRIBLE! Do not use this hospital.

I had an awful experience June 23-24 2019.

I am as brought to the hospital by a EPO, my abusive of 22 years had done. I can was there a few says prior being cleared from the first EPO, by my own general care PA, my personal psychiatrist, that I have known for 12 years, a doctor from Fauquier Hospital, Fauquier Co social worker. In addition I am as cleared by several nurses, at my dr’s office and Fauquier Hospital.
My husband, Jeff Khalatbari, kicked me out of our home with the threat of force on June 11th, and had drained our joint account preventing me from being able to pay for a hotel or rent an apartment of my own. I have hypoglycemia, and my sugar levels and drop so low that I collapse in the back of the police car. I asked multiple times for sugar. But no one gave me any. I fell out of the police car onto the hot pavement. Still requesting sugar. I was lifted into a wheelchair and runs the hospital. Still not given anything to eat or drink or any sugar to bring my levels up.
I was severely malnourished, dehydrated, having lost 16lbs in 12 days.
I had to wait 2 1/2 hours for water. I was only given a sandwich and chips, which was more than I had eaten for the entire day.
They had one Social worker come in at 11:30 at night, who main concern was getting my insurance information.
Based on her opinion, who is not a Doctor, had me hospitalized 4.5 hours away from home.
I was And have never been in danger to myself or anyone else. If she had contacted my psychiatrist and my family she couldn’t verify this. In addition I have no cut marks on my arms or any part of my body. Scars or anything that would show that I never tried. Suicide. She could’ve also contacted my general doctor taking one to verify that I was taking the medication. And contacted my psychiatrist that he just verified that I wasn’t manic and then I was not a danger to myself or others. But she did none of and have never been a danger to myself or anyone else. During my stay at the mental hospital my medication was never adjusted or increased or changed. I have been taking the same medication and doses for over 13 months. I was not manic I was not unstable mentally. I was exhausted and hungry and thirsty and needed a place to sleep.
The hospital southern mental hospital institute in Danville Virginia. Being in that hospital was the most Trumatic event of my life. I was not treated with human dignity and respect. It was a dangerous environment for the patients and the employees. There was mold in the showers and cockroaches in the dining room and throughout the facility. It was not physically or emotionally or mentally safe The hospital southern mental hospital Institute in Danville Virginia. Being in that hospital was the most Trumatic event of my life. So I was not provided adequate care, and was put in a hospital that could have triggered or worsened my mental illness.
I do not recommend this hospital and will be filing a civil suit on the hospital and for the social worker that had me hospitalized just so she could get paid.
Sincerely,
Natalie Khalatbari

I've been going to this hospital since 1979 and have never had a negative experience. Was there last week 6/2019 for three different apptmts...I was there early and they took me early because someone canceled, the staff was very kind and helpful. They even walked me from one apptmt to the next. If I had anything to say that would be critical, it would be the length of stays in the ER waiting for test results to come back...but I also understand that I don't know what is behind the time lag. I went thru cancer some years ago using them, my husband fell, broke his neck and had a TBI. They got him medivac'd to UVA immediately. I have no complaints.
