feedback about Forbes Hospital
Good care, convenient location, valet parking. I've had a couple of tests and procedures done here. I've always found the employees to helpful, polite and willing to go out of their way to be of assistance. One tip: Valet parking is complimentary if you have a handicap plate.
I was discharged from Forbes Regional Hospital. I want to tell you the staff here is exemplary. Everyone from the cleaning person to the doctor are so efficient, caring, and friendly. They made my stay so much more pleasant even though I was worried about my diagnosis. The nurses were attentive and the tech people, who gave the scans and X-rays, were attentive also. The emergency room crew was awesome too. They took me in right away and gave me a complete work up and didn’t make me wait too long. I can’t say enough nice things about their care. The doctors and nurses and nurse’s aides explain what they were going to do in language you can understand.
These people are awesome! The hospital is nice too.
I do not have well relatives. Every time one of them have to go to the ER I wish they wouldn't come here. If you have a broken bone, fine. If it's anything not obvious like chest palpitations or some other medical mystery be prepared to wait hours and then have multiple nurses tell you different things or not show up at all. Blood work lost, orders interpreded incorrectly, & a huge wait time on the call button in the room. The nurses station constantly looks like a water cooler chat hang out session.
Took my friend here to deliver her baby. The treatment she received was awful. Makes you wonder if they’re giving away credentials.
The ER saved my life! The nursing shortage , miscommunication, lack of continuity of care and lack of listening to a patient in distress and need they almost killed me. After your in a room , keep your call bell close. Keep on the red button , Call the red number on the wall 121 if you are in distress. The nurses hands are tied, supervisors are the only ones who can save you and get things done. I would be dead if I was not a nurse. WATCH CLOSE and stay CLOSE. MAKE THE STAFF CALL THE D R.
