If I could I would’ve put 0 stars! My grandma was here for 15 days and she was dying one day they would tell her she was good the other that she was in critical condition! She ate one jello y 3 days they had her starving the only reason that they gave us was that she had exams and she couldn’t eat 😡 The nurses were horrible dumb with answers they made no sense( at least the one that saw her) worst hospital ever! We transferred her to San Antonio and she did much better in only 2 days!!!
They never brought my I.D. back and can’t find where it is. When I called to see if they had found it they said they had a bunch but that none of them had my name on it. They were semi polite, just be cautious and remember to ask for everything you hand them as soon as they’re done with it.
If you want to be murdered, over billed and then have to deal with in competence for the next 3-5 years because they do not know how to do proper billing much less medical procedures..this is the place for you. GO TO San Antonio, avoid this sad excuse for a "regional" hospital. They are not listed in the BBB because then we could hammer them some more. JUST SAY NO!
Dr.Cardona and Dr.Sholtz, are extremely excelent DOCTORS!!!,Mrz Norma Salinas cafeteria supervisor and Mr.Reynaldo, morning shift, are excellent, they make sure food is warm, plates have good food portions, and check for any problems with trays(including Mrs.Elizabeth and Mr.Agapito, they deliver trays to rooms always on time, the doctors, take care of their patients, they check up on them every day, they really care, ESPECIALLY, IF YOUR ON Dialysis, LIKE I AM. I feel so good to have had all them taking care of me.Thank you, For Duncan Regional Medical Center.I would certainly go back.GREAT JOB! DOCTORS...Cafeteria, Mrs Norma Salinas, 100% Satisfied, your dedication greatly appreciated...
They diagnosed my aunt with a "stomach virus" three whole days despite vomiting and fainting. Then they accused it of being a tumor.
We took her to San Antonio and it turned out to be a hemorrhagic stroke. The fact that they completely misdiagnosed something that was so severe is legitimately disgusting and it not only traumatized my entire family and scared us for life, it makes me worry about others who are taken here and suffer due to the lack of care from this horrible hospital.
If you need better medical attention, please please PLEASE go to San Antonio. It's not worth losing a life over nurses who don't bother putting the effort. Go somewhere where they actually care. It's much safer and reliable. I won't be bothering to complain to this hospital cuz clearly they don't listen to the reviews here. This isn't the first time a stroke has been misdiagnosed in my family by this hospital.
I'm just putting my input so that others can be weary and have a better chance to live than waste their time here at Fort Duncan hospital. Again, go to San Antonio, they're so much better.
