Wish I could score it even less. As others have pointed out, this place should not even have a so-called “emergency room” because the wait times are ridiculous!! I watched more people walk out and refuse service because of the long wait than I actually witnessed walking out after they got treated. Never again would I come here willingly.

Do not go here after hundreds of thousands of dollars in medical care over the past year this is the one to avoid phone calls are impossible to get through you will be redirected several times there is no way to formally file a complaint with this hospital I have tried .community hospital is 5 minutes north highly recommended very knowledgeable staff phone answered 5 minutes problem-solvphoned

Brought my parent in on Sunday. Dr.Nick was informative, supportive and quick to get things moving. Adam his nurse was kind and patient with all of us. Dr Baig was thorough. It was a bit of a wait before my parent was admitted but we were kept informed every step of the way. Would recommend this ER!

Ok so I’m not gonna say our entire pre testing experience was bad. EKG dept excellent. Lab dept excellent. Unfortunately Radiology Dept terrible. Way too long of a wait for an 83 year old in severe pain. I mean seriously it’s a CXR she should not have had to sit in pain for an hour. Asked the girl who checked us in to check on the delay but she was rude and just said “they know your here”. Then she was relieved thank goodness and when I asked her to check on the delay she actually went back to the dept and checked herself and then they came for my mom right away. It’s amazing how one person and dept can ruin the entire experience. But more importantly my mom was very unhappy with her first experience with the hosp she is going to have her first surgery ever with. Hopefully when she has her surgery there it will be better experience.

If I could give less than one star I would. I took my wife to this ER because she was having severe side effects from a medicine prescribed to her from one of their doctors. She also has had neck surgery a few months back which compounded the issue as the uncomfortable furniture in the place gave her a nasty headache. I informed the nurse on duty of this predicament two hours into our wait but she really didn't care Another 45 minutes later we were shown to triage room #4 tucked away in a quiet corner and left to rot for another hour. Then we saw a doctor for all of 8 minutes. Then another hour, then an phlebotomist from Alverno (an equally worthless organization) drew her blood. Then another two plus hours of no one. She was in so much pain and it was so late into the night we got up and left. So for seven hours in the ER we saw a doctor for exactly 8 minutes. And it was oh so much fun literally watching everyone who came in after us taken in before us too. We live less than I mile from here but we will NEVER set foot in this hospital again unless it's an immediate life threatening condition. We will drive a little extra to go to a real hospital like Community over on Calumet.
