Genesys Regional Medical Center – Health Park

I was billed twice for my emergency room visit. The first payment of $422.11 was deducted from my HRA, and then they deposited the check I sent for the same amount. The error was not caught by their billing department, or they were hoping the error wasn't caught. If I didn't notice the mistake the hospital would have willing taken my money. If you receive a bill from this hospital, I'd contact your insurance before sending payment.

We are still in emergency and it's nine pm. We have been here since about 3:30 this afternoon. This place has emptied and filled up again and my granddaughter hasn't been waited on. When you ask why it's taking so long the employees are very rude. It's bad enough to have to come to this place; there's no excuse for the way business is being conducted here. Won't be coming back here again.

Not the same level of care they used to be before being taken over by Acension - the ER that is. I would like my old Genesys back. If this ER's level of non caring continues I will be going to Hurley or McLaren. Their surgical center is good though. ICU was too.

I've visited the emergency here twice- once after a bad accident and once for pneumonia. A visit to the emergency room is always a stressful experience, but I loved how the staff treated me and worked to get me through the system as quickly as possible. I was treated with care and respect. The facility was clean and well organized. If I had another emergency I wouldn't hesitate to go here.

No wait when I arrived in emergency room. I was seen immediately and had a nice caring nurse, competent doctor. All of the staff seemed efficient and concerned with providing the best care possible.
