Sad that they only have 2.5 stars. I found the facility lovely and clean and most of the people I encountered to be helpful. For a hospital it was reasonable. There were crabs here and there but hey what can one expect in a hospital. I feel great/full that there is a reasonable facility in town.

Short staff on nurses. One to every six patients. Very hard to do a great Job. CNA was absent so more work for nurses. Never saw the like, CN or nurses picking up trash. Gila Regional doesn't realize what a great group of medical profecinals they have. Did an amazing job They need more help or they will burn out.

If there was a 0 star option I would give it. This hospital is a great hospital if you want to die. You could come in with a minor road rash and you’d die with an exploded heart. They will kill you

Go out of town if you can, not worth the hassle.

I have had many experiences with this hospital. As a patient I had awesome nursing care when I had to stay for several days. I had to 'fast' overnight in order to have a test done and when the test was completed I had missed lunch as well. My nurse went down to the cafeteria, picked out a meal and brought it back to me - she didn't have to, but she did because that's what their nurses and staff do - over and above to take care of the patients! My children have both been seen in the E.R. on multiple occasions and have always been treated with excellent care. They have a new doctor group in the E.R. where almost all of the physicians are board certified in Emergency Medicine - which means you are getting the best. I will admit that this hospital has gone through a lot of tough times with bad decisions made by previous administrations --HOWEVER-- the staff still there are working with what they've been handed and doing their best. They truly do care and it shows. The staff and the caregivers are the best! They can and will do anything to make your stay comfortable and treat you like family. The radiology department is full of great techs that really know their stuff! I trust them whole-heartedly! Our community depends on this hospital and I truly believe that our hospital delivers great care more often than this list of reviews show-- This hospital is more than one past event- it's the unsung heroes that work there every day - saving lives, caring for, feeding, and loving patients
