I recently had an outpatient surgery done at Mercy Medical Center and this was my first surgery, so I was feeling pretty nervous. From the minute I walked into Mercy Medical Center I felt welcomed and cared for. Upon arrival I was greeted by a staff member and asked if I needed any help. Every single nurse and doctor I met was extremely kind, caring, and patient. I even had a nurse call and check up on me the day following my surgery! I had such a great experience here and would highly recommend Mercy Medical Center!

I went in for a serious loss of blood due to a miscarriage and was seen in a very decent amount of time. I was taken care of by the docs and nurses. Everything was explained and made clear as to what was happening. I ended up having to have a minor surgery and have to say I was pleased with the process and results. Very professional and kind staff. Thank you for taking good care of me and for comforting us during such a hard time.

I was there today for an outpatient surgery. I received a call a week ago to go over my medical history and any questions. That person was very nice. When I arrived today, I registered and was called back by a very kind nurse (Tara) and also my pre op nurse Juli. Both ladies were helpful, patient, comforting and good at their jobs. Juli kept me giggling while she started my IV and asked me the typical questions. She had a great sense of humor. I was visited by Dr Price my anesthesiologist and Dr Vazquez my surgeon and had the opportunity to ask questions and discuss anything. Then my OR nurse Pauline who was just one more very pleasant and comforting person introduced herself and explained about giving me some medication to relax and moving to the operating room. They were also all very kind and accommodating to my husband through the whole process. When I woke up my husband was by my side and they had already briefed him on all the discharge instructions. I don’t remember my post op nurses name due to the drugs but she was pleasant. I guess they were really busy/full and I felt rushed to get out and go home but that didn’t change my positive opinion of my experience. I was a bit worried after reading other reviews on MGMC but the bad ones seemed to be about the Emergency room staff and doctors. My experience was great and I would have no reservations about going there again.

The first day I felt like I received pretty good care and in a timely fashion. I left with the same pain and symptoms, a recommendation to see a GI doctor ASAP because all the ER's testing showed nothing wrong with me and a Rx for an antacid. I was experiencing acute abdominal pain. That night the pain was much worse, called my primary doctor and they told be to go back to the ER again. This experience was not as good, the physician told me that there is nothing more they could due, the test are normal and go see a GI doctor. I told the ER physician that the GI doctors I called could not get me in from 3-4 weeks or until January. The ER physician called a GI doctor and discharged me to see the GI doctor today at 2:30PM. I called Dr. Reddy's office and they had no record of a call by a physician or had any open appointments. Unbelievable, I called the ER back this morning and they hung up on me twice after a 62 minute wait on hold.

I checked myself in to this hospitals ER because of severe food poisoning and waited in the ER waiting room for almost two hours. I ended up leaving without even having my vitals checked because of how busy they were. Which is not a my problem with them at all.. Fast forward a year and a half later I was contacted by a collections agency who purchased a debt of a few hundred dollars in my name from chandler regional hospital. I called and attempted to speak to a manager about this situation but they would only transfer me to their billing department and the person was not helpful at all. according to her they couldn’t do anything because they no longer owned my debt. A debt that didn’t even make sense for me to have because I have insurance! The charges that they billed me for were not even any where near what I was there for. According to her information I was treated for chest pains that day and had a few tests ran on me. NOT TRUE! She told me that I needed to find out who the front desk clerks were that day myself in order for them to help me.. what kind of hospital does this?! They took my information from the new patient packet I filled and racked up phony charges is what they did! I ended up having a mark on my credit score for months while I fixed this issue! DO NOT COME HERE!!!
