MURDERERS! Its been years since my dad passed away. This is painful for me to write as I am missing him. I felt the staff and nurses didn't give him the best care he deserved. I believe there were mistakes made. My sister who's a nurse knows that for a fact. My dad would be alive if it weren't for their negligence. My dad was getting better and was getting his speech back and he tried so hard, and it hurts so much to know that nothing was done for him, he should've been transferred to a place that specializes in neurological disorders. I see the other reviews here, all of them should say 5 stars. I've been talking to a lawyer to get legal advice and even though the statute of limitations has expired, I still believe they were negligent. Don't worry God's wrath is way stronger than mine, I'll put it in his hands.
You can't blame one hospital for high healthcare costs. The staff is well trained. They handled family bereavement like professionals. They also helped welcome our new baby, making us feel like VIPs. Thanks good SAM
I just left the Baxter unit at this hospital the floors are filthy. That is a bad representation for this place. This place is not good. I really hate this place. I would never go here on purpose. I hope my family member is released tomorrow. It's a filthy place you guys need to do better. I will never forget how a staff member stole a necklace off the neck of my 95 year old grandmother while she slept. I wanted to tear this place up everyone was in denial. They gave a monetary replacement but she had that chain for over 50 years. Don't leave your valuables with family members because they take things. Hate this place!
I’ve been to the ER here just once and waited for over 9 hrs the staff was nice at least and I assumed it was just a crowded day in the ER. This led to a long unfortunate visit for me.
Fast forward two years later I am having an outpatient surgery here in ASU South all I hoped that it would not lead to another long day! Unfortunately, I was wrong! I was scheduled for 11:30a.m
I was told to come in early and was there at 11. I had not eaten or drank anything as ordered. I was brought in at 12 IV hooked on and then the waiting game! I was told I would be going in at 1pm. At 2pm I inquired and was told “it’s like being at an airport the only things that go on as schedule and on time are the first flight and first surgery.” Unfortunately for me I was scheduled so late! I was finally brought into the OR for a 10min surgery at 4:45! I have had this procedure done 2 yrs ago at another location I was done in less than 3 hrs and was feeling great after and able to work next day. The anesthesiologists in this case was generous with the anesthesia although I told her ahead of time my side effects of nausea and dizziness. I was finally able to go home at 7pm! All night and all next day still feeling the side effects from the anesthesia not the procedure. This caused me to take another day off from work. Moving forward if I need another procedure I will be asking for another outpatient location. I am a patient person but I find it unfair to be told no eating or drinking after 12 midnight and not having a sip or snack for surgery that finally took place at 4:45pm! A surgery that took 10 mins caused me to be there from 11am-7pm is just not acceptable. I find it to be unprofessional. It would be great if they communicated more or if my request of ice chips at 2pm wouldn’t have been turned down since as I didn’t go in till 3 hrs later. I requested an earlier time to go in for surgery as I suffer from terrible cramping pains when I am hungry and thirsty. I was told not possible. Two times horrible experience at this hospital. While I had no staff issues and I know some things they can’t control this was just a horrendous experience during and after.
My experience with the Neuro people and Neuro step down unit was a great one. Even when they moved me to the stroke unit the care was great. They did their best to make me feel very comfortable.
