WARNING ALL MEDICARE PATIENTS & vulnerable disabled seniors!!! Grand river health (rifle co) IS BEING INVESTIGATED FOR MEDICARE FRAUD! The medical group physicians are being forced to DROP MEDICARE PATIENTS (ESPECIALLY THE ELDERLY with multiple medical conditions requiring extra time & frequent office visits with providers )FOR 'cost efficiency'. Grand River is then altering patient records to cover up reason for discharge of patient. The CEO: Mr Jim Coombs refuses to meet with patients to correct records or reconsider reinstating medical care. I am a 69 year old female in end stage heart failure with less than six months to live. I am unable to eat, & now weigh 89 pounds There are no internal medicine providers within a 100 mile radius accepting NEW MEDICARE/MEDICAID PATIENTS. i am also losing my home nursing/hospice services as agency needs physician orders. Grand River should be more than ashamed to call themselves a facility of medical care! GRAND RIVER IS "Greedy River"

My mother in law who rarely goes to the doctor became very ill and had no choice but to come in on the weekend. She came back saying that the clinic had lacked the devotion to definitively provide care. She had a quick visit from the doctor in the room who diagnosed with an ear infection in spite of all the total opposite symptoms she was experiencing (hard coughing, nausea, fever, chills, fatigue and loss of appetite). She was sent home with simple medication, and has taken a turn for the worse since the visit. In fact, her cough has become more violent and developed wheezing in her lungs. The doctor seriously misdiagnosed and neglected to take her patient seriously. Now there is a bill that has to be payed for an inaccurate opinion. In our eyes we took this to heart, and felt there was a sense of negligence for treatment. We will not plan on revisiting this facility nor recommend this to anyone who seeks immediate medical attention. Instead, we will be visiting a physician who takes their job seriously and provides great care in their patients.

Nurse was great, receptionist was great.. however the doctor (Sarah) wouldn't have given me the antibiotics I needed until I very insistently demanded them. I felt like she was treating me like all I wanted was drugs and then when I asked for antibiotics, she offered me codeine before she offered me anything else. She wouldn't listen to what I had to say about how I was feeling when I was very obviously sick. I highly reccomend finding a different doctor if she's the one assigned to your needs.
