Nurse was great, receptionist was great.. however the doctor (Sarah) wouldn't have given me the antibiotics I needed until I very insistently demanded them. I felt like she was treating me like all I wanted was drugs and then when I asked for antibiotics, she offered me codeine before she offered me anything else. She wouldn't listen to what I had to say about how I was feeling when I was very obviously sick. I highly reccomend finding a different doctor if she's the one assigned to your needs.

Very slow and unfortunately under staffed. But when you finally get treatment staff is very caring and attentive.

This has been the worst experience ever trying to get a doctor. They wouldn't make an appointment until they had all of my records. Once they had my records they still wouldn't make an appointment because at this facility it is up to the doctor if they will take you on or not. The doctor I wanted to go to refused service after looking at my records and wouldn't tell me why. I asked the person on the phone what would happen if all of the doctors refused to treat me, and she said that I would have to try a different facility. One of the doctors finally said they would take me on, but with the understanding that it was just to give a referral to someone else, and they couldn't get me in for three weeks. I called one of their other clinics and they got me in. They said they would get the records and review them before the appointment, but everything would be good. I got to the appointment and the doctor had not looked at the records, and did not know my history. They tried to read through years of records while I was sitting there and asked me several stupid questions. It was eventually made clear that this doctor was not going to help or treat me either. I am back to looking for a doctor in the area.

This has been the most horrible experience we’ve ever had. We brought our son in to see one of the family physicians for a meet and greet and to establish care because our son is autistic. After I repeatedly made it clear he did not like the heart monitor on his finger they proceeded to pin his leg down and tape it to his foot. They seemed confused as to why I had even brought him in at all. They clearly lack experience with children with disabilities which completely blows my mind. They acted as if they didn’t even want us there. The Doc told us he would send referrals for OT, Speech, and aquatic therapy. He never did and I had to call his office to tell them to send the referral for aquatic therapy because that was the only thing we were interested in at that point. After I repeatedly stated we just wanted the aquatic therapy the nurse still sent a referral for all three services which caused even more confusion. The lady from rehabilitation proceeds to call me and tell me that if my son is not potty trained he can’t be in the pool. First of all people, he is disabled. Your job is to help people of all ages and abilities. This was never an issue where we moved from. There clearly needs to be some changes at this hospital and throughout this entire valley. More acceptance and more awareness. These kids need access to better resources. We need more people who actually care and want to change lives. Do better Grand River. It’s not that hard. If I could give you zero stars I would!

First time in Rifle and first time at this emergency and it was truly a blessing. I came in with a serious problem and from checking in to the nurses, and doctor. I was treated with respect, all staff was deeply concern to fix the problem, and the staff did everything from helping and explaining what's going on to what had to happen with no problems. I didn't even wait 10 minutes before they called me back and while nurse was still examining me. The doctor came in to help. Also, I had to be transferred for emergency surgery to Glenwood Springs hospital and the nurse started IV with no problems here and they all had me prepared correctly and sent me on my way. I want to say thank you to all that helped me this night....Yes! Will update with all names soon. Blessings
