Amazing hospital! Amazing doctors, nurses, and technicians. I delivered my first baby here and I have nothing but wonderful experiences to express. Very patient and very through. My fiance and I were so happy we selected this hospital to deliver our first newborn! πŸ’™πŸΌπŸ‘Ά

My complaint stems more from the greed of the hospital as well as the ER doctors. After a relative minor laceration and stitches, imagine our surprise when an additional bill for $1526.00 for ER doctor compensation was tagged on the the $550.00 plus amount for the "use" of the space at the ER. Consumers of the ER should be made clearly aware of the exorbitant cost before the utilization of services. Although the marketing of Hackensack Hospital at the Pascack Valley campus is geared to a full service community hospital, the consumer should consider the use of an Urgent Care facility if it is at all possible.

What a horrible, money-grabbing business! My son had a bad back pain and I thought it was a heart attack. We went into an emergency room at 6am on Sunday morning. The place was completely empty, not one patient. They put my son in a room where we waited for an hour and a half until a sleepy 'physician" finally showed up. He didn't even touch my son, just said it's not a heart attack and we need to do x-rays. At that point we decided to leave and were told we still had to pay at least $500. The bill for $2000 came in shortly. We didn't even come in with an ambulance, we drove. How greedy and disturbing. Do yourself a favor, NEVER GO THERE

Spent four days there. This is how a hospital should be. Clean, open aired- no stuffy smell, friendly unstressed staff, food simple but healthy and digestible, access to specialists and procedures, no check-in time (just verify insurance coverage), no long wait in emergency room, comfortable modern clean bed and bathroom, easy to use phone and call device, and no traffic with parking ease- we had free valet. This is my third visit- two over nighters and one emergency.

The radiology techs are very pleasant to deal with. Unfortunately upon entering the department you have to deal with a very unprofessional receptionist who should not be your first impression of a department. I would recommend you going else where.
