Another super positive experience with the emergency room staff, doctors and nurses! Can not recommend this ER enough. My son broke his arm, they were gentle, kind, patient, up front about the process, explained everything as we went and easily transferred us up to Stanford. Very pleased with our local hospital! Again.

I had my gallbladder removed at the surgery center on the 14 of May.
The staff was absolutely amazing from the minute I walked in until the moment I rolled out.
They kept me comfortable and relaxed.
Every single person from the front desk to nurses to the Dr. had a smile on there face and were warm and caring.
They kept a cheerful balance and kept me laughing the few hours I spent there.
Thank you thank you thank you to every single one of you. You care and should all know how much you all make a difference in people’s lives.

I am not pleased with this ER.

Upon checking in, the nurse was asking me health related questions; while very polite, I noticed he was checking boxes without asking me the question first. Such as: have you traveled outside of the country recently. He checked 'no' on that box without even asking me. That is pertinent information that he didn't bother to get, instead he made an assumption.

The other problem is that I was told that I was dehydrated, and that I really needed water to hydrate myself. If this was such a concern to them, why wouldn't they start an IV and give me saline? Or at the very least, not make me wait half an hour to bring me a tiny water bottle?

Another thing I will mention since I'm writing, is that I refused pain meds. Which is completely my right and will not have a negative effect on my health. The nurses would not accept this answer and kept bothering me about it; and not in a polite way. They were very rude about it with a tone of voice that would make you think I was in anaphylaxis refusing epinephrine.

These problems were not the only shortcomings I noticed and paid the price for. I am not at all impressed by this hospital or its staff. I see a need for ethics and customer service training...

A heartfelt thank you to Hazel Hazels is too inadequate so I write this.
I was admitted to ER to see if I was having an MS exacerbation that was the first in 10 years.
Dr Bogie’s quick kind and thorough diagnostics and immediate staff coordination resulted in a 4 day stay of intensive treatments that arrested a full blown exacerbation and permanent loss of ability to walk and talk.
Dr Herrick, was a medical quarter back who took gentle charge of coordinating care with the most informed, kind, and efficient doctors, nurses, nursing assistants etc that you could imagine. My Nuerologist, Dr Jain, worked hand in hand with Dr Herrick all along the way. Even the dietary management and kitchen team werecso pleased to continue special cooking and food needs .

Claudia Cameroon, inpatient physical therapist, was so informed and her ray of sunshine easily turned negative thoughts to more positive healing ones.
Personable and informed Josh Mercier, Medical Social Worker, offered post relief transportation and many other resources that would be invaluable for future follow- up care and getting medications, and offered to help handle any issues in the future.
I’m so handled....

Thank you for all you kind, informed, timely and humanistic approach to a life-changing moment that could have turned out so differently and affected my life forever. 😘😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😬

Had my son here, worse 3 days of my life, nurses are rude, they didn't explain nothing to me. Didn't even give me my son footprints. Worse hospital ever.
