Nurses that cared for my daughter (Lauren & Tiffani) in the Emergency room were extremely kind, showing much compassion, excellent in their job skills, and talking to her making her more at ease. 10 years ago I would have never used Heartland, because of rumors. NOW it's one of my favorites!!!! Good job Heartland Regional!!!!!

Was very well taken care of. Speedy service in the Emergency Room. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Facility was clean and quiet. I couldn't have asked for better treatment! Great job Heartland!

My husband Michael Darin was just released this am after 3 days in ICU...absolutely amazing staff..amazing and compassionate nurses...best thing ever was not just the excellent care he received but the way we were kept updated on his plan of care..amazing physicians..great nurses..all were great but 2 special ones were Melinda and DeeEllen...thank you both so much for your caring and compassionate nursing skills...a special shout out to phlebotomist Morgan who took extra time to find out if he needed any other lab drawn in the next few hours as she was drawing his timed labs....good job..sure hope all your lab personnel are like her

Arrived 7:30am per instructions, starving per instructions for virtual Colonoscopy. Only place in southern Illinois that this procedure is done they say. 10:30am the radiologist arrived at the hospital. Spent 3 hours smelling breakfast from the cafeteria on the lower level of the open lobby, still starving. Procedure was almost as uncomfortable as the standard colonoscopy. Picking up the results on CD today.

Staff Was great I would give them Five stars... As for this Hospital's Billing department, its a joke. I paid my bill ahead of time(NEVER DO THAT HERE) then after my procedure I get the bill and i had over paid. No big deal i thought they would just give me the $580 i over paid. I called MANY times at first they kept saying they hadn't got the info from my insurance yet... so i called my insurance company they said it had all went through and they had been paid 3 weeks earlier. So i had my insurance company call them with me on the line. They kept going in circles and said they would re-send it to the department that handles this. Okay so three days goes by and i try to call Billing again to check the status of my refund, they keep hanging up on me and not taking my calls. I have called over and over 20 or more times and every time just happen to get disconnected. If this review can stop at least one person from going there good. I will never go there again. If you have to go here pay when you get your bill from insurance because you won't get your money back.
