Head Obstetrics nurse Lisa went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and my transition home as smooth as possible. The new hospital building is clean and attractive.
Thanks for the compassionate care!

I fell and broke my leg on the way to Mississippi for vacation on July 3rd. I was treated at the ER when I arrived around 2:30 pm. Everyone was really nice except the man at the front desk. The first thing I noticed was he was chewing gum. Not very professional for someone you see first. He was also rude. When I asked if he wanted my insurance cards he made me feel like I was stupid for asking. I didn't see a real "doctor" the whole time I was there. Only a nurse practitioner and aids. While I was being tended to my man went to the nearby hotel to unload our luggage. When he came back for me the man at the front desk made him go all the way around to another door instead of letting him in the door next to my exam room. I will not be returning to this hospital again.

I had outpatient testing done here. When my IV was started the male nurse starting it didn't wear gloves. When I questioned him about it and told him I was a RN and would never dream of starting an IV without gloves he just shrugged it off like he couldn't get anything from me. I wonder though if he'd have stuck himself what I might have gotten? Being careless with other people's well-being is frightening & highly suspicious. I've never been in the ER or inpatient to address those areas.
