Holland Community Hospital

After 2 urgent care visits with no answers I finally decided to go into the ER. And I’m so happy I did. Holland Emergency Department did everything they could to not only make me feel comfortable (greeting me with a warm blanket, continually checking to make sure I was warm enough/comfortable & asking if I needed anything during my very minimal wait times) but also did everything possible to get me answers. I was so impressed and comforted by the quick and compassionate care I received here. So thank you very much. I now have answers and peace of mind.

Great service, but ER physicians EPI bill separately (common standard practice) but the registration info is obtained by the hospital. This information is shared with the ER physicians electronically and apparently "doesn't always make it over". Therefore the physicians billed me personally, not through my insurance, and did not bother to check if I had insurance. There is nothing on the EPI bill to suggest they didn't bill insurance, so when you pay it it doesn't go towards your deductible unless you catch it!

Excellent, efficient care and caring staff.

My daughter has gone in for emergency treatment numerous times and has nothing but glowing comments about the care she receives. We, in fact, live in Muskegon and her comments about local emergency care leave much room for improvement. Please give our thanks and appreciation to all the ER staff ❤.
