Houlton Regional Hospital

My experience at this hospital was very good, they know what they are doing trust me, if you are dying they will stabilize you and ship you to Bangor.... This may be a small hospital but they know how to save your life, I'm very impressed, I just wish they had full time Emergency doctors here instead of rotating them around, anyways this hospital is wonderful!

Houlton Hospital has always treated my family well. I have had a surgery there and had several important emergency needs for my children. Every time the care was excellent. It is also one of the cleanest hospitals I have ever seen. Some people up here complain about Houlton Hospital, but if you’ve lived anywhere else in a major city and tried to go to an ER or see a doctor there, you wouldn’t complain anymore.

I am from Massachusetts and used to exceptional hospitals so when I had to go to Houlton Hospital I was a little worried, esp after reading the reviews online but I have to say that it was the best emergency room visit I've ever experienced! I was in and out within an hour. The doctor and staff were very friendly. The doctor was knowledgeable and had me diagnosed quickly. I would not hesitate to go back here again!

This place is a joke on many levels! They do not know how to treat nothing but the sniffles and that is no joke!

This hospital is a disgrace to the town for what they charge and how they us their staff and doctors. Blood work is a hoax for what they charge when you can go to Bangor for a third of the price that they charge. also everything else is more expensive there also. The new policy on down payments is a disgrace as many can't afford it. Our business will be taken elsewhere for now on and have started doctoring in Bangor and Presque Isle for everything but our primary care doc
