My husband had huge painful boil under arm as big as softball.. After talking him into going to Er we went to Humboldt.. At first i was very pleased they got us in came straight to room lanced it and sent us on our way.. We was in and out in a hour I was going to 5 stat them and then as I was thinking about it all it all happen so fast the doctor who looked to have had no sleep was cutting on my husband he put the numbing shot in and immediately suck the knife into his arm pit.. There on the table laid a grow man being held down by me doctor and nurses in puddle of sweat face white as a ghost cry because it was hurting him so bad.. I think doctor got in hurry he should have made sure it was it was numb and if not give him another shot.. He said it should feel betier when hes was done after the pressure was released.. Well he didn't get it all out and left room nurse began pushing on it and whipped him off and discharged us.... My husband was in worse pain after leaving then before going in.. They said it was not infected that if it became hot red swollen and hurt to come back cause it was infection.. But before they began it had done began streaking red lines witch are signs of staph and was swollen red hot and painful and the pus wad green.. I'm not a doctor but I'm not dumb that looked like infection... And on top of that ( by the way my husband is not a drug seeker) I had to pretty much throw a fit to get him to Er after the 3rd day.. And chose Humboldt think I needed to get to closest Er before he had time to change his mind...They didn't send him home with any pain meds. I even called them and made sure we had not forgot a prescription they said to take tylenol and motron Lol this has been going on for week had been hurting 4 three day I have gave him every over the counter meds I could think of and nothing touched it... So that sums it up worst mistake ever... Went back but to Jackson general and they took well care of him and feels almost healed..
