I feel traumatized from my visit. I was not treated how I should have been and to make it worse.. during my visit I had to throw up. As most people know when you have to throw up, it's usually quite sudden. So I was able to make it to the sink. I would have tried to make it to the trash can but I had a BP cup on, a pulse monitor, and an IV in my arm. Plus to the trash can was on the other side of the gurney in EXAM ROOM 8 right next to the nurses station. As well I was not provided a bed pan to puke into in the first place. So I call the nurse to tell her that I had puked in the sink, she then continues to yell at me and say thanks for clogging our sink, then SLAMS the door like a child. I could barely walk, yet she made me feel so guilty that I take of my BP cup, Pulse monitor, and pick up my IV off from the wall and walk over continuing to pick up my own puke from the sink and wobble over to the trash and cleared it out myself. Then I had to use the bathroom and when I walked out she was complaining to my doctor that it was the same distance, she was sweating and clearly angry. I was walking to the bathroom at that point and kept saying how sorry I was. She just nodded her head with disappointment. I'm sorry but the last time I knew, that was a nurses job to clean things up and be kind, as well to provide a bed pan so she may have even broken protocol but that is just my opinion. I have many more complaints of how in my opinion I, my grandmother, and a personal friend were mistreated. But I will digress.

Nephew bought in today by ambulance for severe chest pains (heart attack symptoms). I drove from Saginaw 45 minute drive to find him sitting in the waiting area, waiting to be seen. Asked the Nurse if its not considered an emergency if a person is experiencing severe chest pains. Was told we would have to wait because there are no beds and the hallways were filled with people. A person could be in serious danger and it seems as if the staff here don't give a damn. This would have never happen in Saginaw. Not at the hospital's there. HEART ATTACK SYMPTOMS are taking serious. So disappointed in how my Nephew was treated. This is information the LOCAL NEWS should and will here about.

Was there last night with a family member that needed medical attention ASAP after being triaged and seen what was wrong they still made us sit in the waiting room for over 6 hours. They don't care about the people who need medical attention ASAP they give it to the homeless and drug users first. They are also very NASTY. If you don't have to go there don't go to Genesys you get seen quickly and if medical attention ASAP you get it.
