I went with a broken tooth with an exposed nerve crying in pain.. they would not give me anything for my pain. They were very detached and non caring. They did not prescribe me anything but an anti inflammatory. My tooth is more than half broken off to the bottom of my gum with the nerve exposed. This hospital has been and always will be a terrible hospital... anytime I’ve ever went they are non caring. The man at the front where I signed in tho was the sweetest man... he is not included in this post.

Visited the ER here twice in less than two weeks, was admitted the second time. 11/06/2017 The nurses & doctors here are some of the most caring, kindest, thorough, understanding people I have ever met working at this facility. They went above & beyond to take care of me & my families needs. They ran every test possible to diagnose & treat my illnesses. ER & radiology staff were outstanding & amazing (thank you ladies!!) It was never my hospital of choice back when it was known as hutcheson, but since reopening the place & medical staff has changed & improved dramatically. I can't say enough good things about the medical staff & facility or how much I appreciate them all, thank you so much!! 👍❤️🙂 #ER Dr Miranda, nurse Carrie, the lab technician's, 3rd floor nurses & radiology staff, you all were AMAZING!!!!

Normally it's a good place to go, but today it doesn't even deserve one star. My husband asked to see a doctor instead of a PA this time, so when they sent a PA in, i asked to see a doctor. She got an attitude and stormed off. Then after he saw the doctor, they made us wait forever to be discharged. Probably because i made the PA mad. Oh well. She really needs to be more professional!

Waited 3 hours on a Saturday to be admitted with only 4 people in the waiting room. There was a guy bleeding out of his head all over the floor in the waiting room and even he had to wait more than an hour to be called back and admitted. The hospital is dirty, falling apart, equipment is outdated, and there were only about 4 nurses on staff in the ER. Terrible hospital. Better off being shut down.

Typically a long wait, but then again this is flu season. Like any ER they are understaffed and overworked but the nurses are friendly and compassionate and they seem to have the patient's well being at the focus of what they do. Great location for anyone in the Walker, Catoosa or Dade area.
