feedback about Inova Alexandria Hospital
Everyone we came in touch with was helpful and very nice. Nurses would stop by to see if I needed anything and they were not my regular nurse. They just cared enough to be sure I was comfortable. Everyone smiled and really seem to love their jobs. Hospitals can be a miserable place because you usually don’t feel well, but everyone took great care of me.
While I was there, they had a few technical difficulties, but they had a backup option and it never affected my care.
The Dining On Call has a wide selection of foods for all diets and the food was really good. Best grilled cheese I’ve had in a long time.
My room was large and comfortable. It was clean and someone from the cleaning department stopped by to be sure everything was to my satisfaction.
Thank you for making my stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. I will definitely recommend Alexandria Hospital and my surgeon, Dr Gillian to anyone needing Hiatal Hernia and/or GERD repair surgery.
They need to be more professional. The guy at the valet parking does not meet the standard at all. He need to be trained on what the guest service is.
Very nice hospital. 24 hours doctor available in emergency ward. Staff members are good and very caring.
Dr. Tirrell has horrible bedside manner, made fun of me for not being able to breathe, but said it wasn't "bad enough" to warrant a change in medication (which wasn't working anyway). After switching doctors, things are explained clearer and I feel like I matter as a patient a little more, however I cannot wait to leave. The nursing staff has been excellent, no complaints there.
Please stop sending your patients to BRIDGEPOINT. They're being referred to as "death hospital" by neighboring hospitals. Why would you transfer your patients here?
It's also concerning that the CEO of Bridgepoint is stating that hospitals send patients there when other doctors and hospitals have "given up on them." Doesnt seem like a "do no harm" mentality when you've given up patients and send them to "death hospital".
