Iowa Methodist Medical Center

Had to stay for 8 days in the Yonkers unit. Was treated exceptionally well. I am now trying to get my primary setup there. Love this hospital.

I've had 2 people that were misdiagnosed with serious diseases the nursing staff are neglectful and the doctors need years more of medical practice. One person I knew was told they had herpes just because a doctor looked at her privates and took no test then my grandfather was told he had cancer when it was just an infection! They can never fix the stress they put on us.

My phlebotomist Feby was so awesome. Very professional and knows her job WELL. Surgical staff and nurse Carol the BEST.

Highly recommend this hospital, I couldn't be at the hospital everyday and the docs and nurses called me with updates. Staff is kind and has a lot of empathy. Thank you staff.

I delivered my second child via scheduled c-section. I was terrified, anxious and restless because my first delivery was nothing short of traumatic that resulted in an emergency cesarean. My nurse Ann went above and beyond, and I felt so secure with her being with me. My husband and her hit it off amazingly as she is also a military nurse and he serves as well, I felt like she was family! She stayed with me from start to finish, long after she herself was meant to go home. She held me during my spinal tap and comforted me, she stayed until I was in recovery and had me settled in before she took her leave. I will never forget her. Dr Bingamin delivered my daughter and had us out in record time, the environment was professional, urgent, and sterile. She did an amazing job stitching me up! I am currently 6 days post partum, no need for pain meds, just a little sore but I feel amazing! The nurses that came in during my recovery time were nothing short of living miracles, even at my worst they were beyond supportive and understanding. They were quick when I asked for help, and gave me every answer possible to each question I asked. I will always go to Methodist from now on for any future deliveries. Thank you so much!
