I am a new employee here at Iroquois Memorial Hospital. So far my experience has been over the moon! Everyone here is very welcoming and willing to help in any way they can. I have been meeting with each department in the hospital and the health center and have learned so much more than expected. This hospital offers so many services that go unnoticed and they have unbelievable technology available. The great thing about this hospital that I have seen with my own eyes is they are very community oriented. They truly care and will provide their undivided attention to patients which is rare. I am very excited to see what the future holds!

Worst Hospital I have visited! We sat in the waiting room with my son for 2 full hours! We did get xrays taken, but that was it! At the 2 hour mark I went back and asked for his results and if we would be roomed soon! She said she doubted it on a room and the Dr wasn’t sure on test results! We left! We will never go back!!

Jan needs to be fired from being a social worker and not hired for anything that is supposed to be supportive in situations like these. We got a call yesterday that my grandfather was dying. He is in hospice care at home. He was given 2-3 hours to 2-3 days. We immediately booked a one way flight from Arizona and spent $2500 to be here for him. She told us we need to leave and we aren’t welcome because we don’t communicate with him. I talk to him on a regular basis, on Friday when he called he sounded better then he has in a long time. we took a vacation up here to spend time with him Oct of 2018. He is a snow bird and has spent the last several winters with us in Arizona (until he got to sick to travel back and forth in 2018 which is why we came here) as I sat and cared for him, took him to all his appointments sat with him while he was in the hospital time and time again. She knows absolutely nothing about our relationship with him. His daughter (my mom) was told she wasn’t welcome to be here either as she was sitting there holding her dying fathers hand. This lady is nasty and as disrespectful as people get. She went as far as to say the pictures of the people around the house are the ones that care about him not us. If she would have opened her eyes she would have seen it was us in these pictures. She was rude from the moment she walked in the door. Hopefully she reads this and when it’s her time to go the people she loves are pushed alway from her as she sits there and dies. Jan, Karma is a B and what goes around comes around. And No I don’t accept your apology from our “misunderstanding” we understood you completely. Which I didn’t get until I called to file my complaint about her. I will say his nurse has been excellent and very helpful. Until this moment with Jan we had zero complaints. Hopefully through the remainder of his care I can give more stars as one person shouldn’t ruin it for the whole company. But what she did was completely uncalled for. Update: they have sent a new social worker with his nurse and things are looking up. She has been extremely supportive.

I hate IMH in watseka, they don’t care about their job at all, they don’t care that they are there to help people when they are hurt and can’t take care of the wound themselves. I give them one star for being clean and wearing gloves and being cautious. But other wise it was not a pleasant experience. Went at 10:27am just to get a CT scan to make sure I didn’t have a kidney infection. Ended up getting blood tests done, the nurse stuck an IV in my arm for about 3 hours for no dam reason, ended up with the wrong things on my discharged papers, and being in pain cause they decided to take out my ingrown toe nail and give me nothing for it. Also, after repeatedly saying that my prescription they were giving me needs to go to Walmart, they sill sent it to CVS which does not take my insurance anymore. Some people can not obviously do their job, they rather sit and chit chat to other nurses instead of taking care of their patients that they are assigned to.
