Jackson Park Hospital

I didn't want to write this review because I'm a very nice person but I have to share my experience.... I was the only person who gave birth on Christmas Eve the service was okay, the food was okay but the staff really didn't seem to care about me. This was a unexpected birth at the hospital but that's besides the point I was the only mother who gave birth and they still managed to mess up my son's birth certificate and social security!? I had given it time and I was patient but I finally got tired of it and when I went to the social security office, the nice lady at the desk on 63rd and cottage Grove told me that the hospital never even filed a social security number?! Wow. Oh and his birth certificate, they never even put his father on there... I'm so upset at the carelessness of the staff at Jackson Park because this is my third birth and it was never like that... I want to complain because this is so wrong and I don't want anyone else to go through it. But I don't know where to start. Oh and the clinic down the street they even told me that they had given this lady the wrong newborn like how does that even happen!?

I recent had my first panic attack I was scared out my mind. My whole experience was awful, first the ambulance did not care. I felt like I was going to die my heart felt like it stop on several occasions I even passed out. I was shaking uncontrollably and all they can say is “calm down” . The worst part was the hospital it was so crowded I didn’t even get a room like me and 4 others was just laying in beds in the hallway. They have the worst attitudes ever no one seem to care. I didn’t even get a chance to see a doctor they sent me home without being seen because I guess they assumed that I didn’t need help and that I will calm down eventually. They did denied me water and didn’t let my boyfriend come back to try to calm me down. I rather die than let them “serve” me again

This hospital is so slow and unpleasant the emergency room/fast track is slow they have a black female Doctor that's rude to the patients she acts like she would rather be a food critic instead break after break smh someone close this place

I have never in my life experienced such unprofessional, rude, nasty, careless staff in my entire life!! They treat you like garbage and give you the nastiest attitude ever and are extremely disrespectful!!!

It takes 3 in a half days to get a medication to a patient once it is prescribed by the doctor. Doctor doesnt even come see you everyday and I'm saying most staff is soooo improffesional, nasty, sarcastic rude behaviors. This place should be shut down they should have a (-0 rating) instead of 1 because this facility dont even deserve a 1 star. Food is terrible showers are cold residents them selves are rude. I was in the mental health unit my 4 days it was a tough one to be at for 4 days. I got transferred from another facility so I shouldnt have been there at all in the first place but my hometown hospital didnt have any beds available so they sent me up there I'm the dungeon where no body ever belongs or should be at. This place should be SHUT DOWN AS WELL AS THORNTON HEIGHTS TERRACE. It was like the hospital of Thorton heights terrace nursing home. Same neck of the woods. It's a shame that both of those places are still up and because of that. "State" it self is not doing their job properly. So I blame state and the hospital it self they dont do anything to help the situation when there are complaints because staff does not think they do anything wrong and they probably conside with their bosses like pshh you didnt do anything wrong. But yes again no question About it SHUT down JACKSON HOSPITAL DOWN" TAKE AWAY MOST OF THEIR LICENSE. BECAUSE MOST OF THEM DONT DESERVE A GOOD PAYING CARREER LIKE THAT IF THEY ARE GOING TO BE LIKE THAT. To me if I was state all I would have to do it walk in JACKSON PARK HOSPITAL ER and have that place shut down.
