5 Stars for my 3-doctor team on the trauma ward and 5 stars for the technicians who did my needed tests.
Zero stars for all except one of the nurses on the trauma ward. They're stupid, smug and sadistic. If they don't like you let you know it by giving you as little care as they can get away with and letting you know they wouldn't treat you at all if it were up to them. They have no compassion or even understanding for what patients are going through. They're total trash and have no business being anywhere near patients, especially on a ward for human beings who are seriously hurt enough to be there.
The interns, some residents, and the highly dangerous medical students trying out a specialty for a couple of months, at least try to do the best they can. But their supervising doctors never lay eyes on patients so they have no idea if what their trainees are telling them is right or even all they should know. Thanks to these useless supervising doctors, you're lucky if you get out of there at least no worse than when you entered. (But that's the same with every teaching hospital, even the private ones. The doctors-in-training are on their own. But based on my experiences at Jacobi, most of them are very good.)
