I have been to Jacobi in 2017. The staff NEVER responds to any of their patients requiring immediate medical attention, who the hell hires these people? Staff are always on their phone and talking to each other while the other patients had to wait HOURS before they got an actual doctor. In my time, we did not have a doctor so we just left and went to another hospital where the wait times was excellent, and the staff was far better than at Jacobi's. If you need surgery or have an emergency, tell your physician or the paramedics to send you to a DIFFERENT hospital, Jacobi is the worst mistake you can possibly make.

Worst hospital in new york!! How are you waiting 6 hours to get a referral from the doctor in the emergency room and it was not busy. There was even a man with a busted nose in the emergency room since 9pm. A bunch of crazy people roaming around the emergency room mixed in with injured people. This the only hospital that doesnt allow you to enter the doctors examination room with your loved one.

Probably the most Worst Hospital in The U.S.A. They just pass time without starting any treatment even if it’s a cancer patient. Everyone is very irresponsible at their work. Don’t come here with the one you love.

In general, the Staff work with a highly negative demeanor. Ask ? and you get a desdained look. The right hand don't know what the left hand is doing. Who runs this place? Security no different. Customer service at the lowest.
The worst I have a experienced from a patient service oriented organization. B.s. after b.s. I am a 36 year old city worker who works for the Medicaid/ Home care Program. One thing in my organization is to treat people with respect as we deal with patients and families and outside agencies. Yes we human, but we need to be careful that are human errors don't spill over and contribute to a down fall in service responsibility and the must needed care for people in our communities. Upalling!!! This hospital needs a make over. Bias attitude.
Very poor organizational and customer service process. What a poor service/in humane environment. I pray non of the staff there encountered what they put us through during our visit involving our mother. My God to thee!

Very disappointed in the wait time. Staff was very rude, negligent, and I left in bed waiting for a doctor to respond and turns out we waited more than enough (5 hours) so we left and my son quickly transferred me to a nearby hospital where the doctor was just ready for me to go in. I had a cut and it wouldn’t stop bleeding so I had to receive some stitches.

This facility is nothing but full of disgraceful nurses and doctors, who are just waiting to receive their checks. Please I’m begging you if you need to go to an ACTUAL hospital for a life threatening or another big reason, DO NOT go to Jacobi, you’ll deeply regret it. Shame on Westchester for designating their ambulance to this location, I’ll bet that’s why the girl from New Rochelle High School died because the staff did nothing to relieve her, same way they didn’t care about me.
